After committing my credit card - I was given the information there would not be bathroom stops on this tour. I think this is barberic seeing as going to the bathroom is a natural bodily function and during 3 hours, one would probably have to use a bathroom. I also felt it was unethical of Michele Topor to only give this information after I had committed to the tour. I have taken tours in NYC and bathroom facilities were offered on both tours. While in Boston this past weekend I spread the word about M. Topor and her ridiculous non-bathroom policy - hope the word spreads far and wide.

Beth was our guide and she was wonderful! I've been to the north end before many times but this tour took us through the history of cultures who have lived there before as well as all the great family owned and run businesses that adhere to old and new Italian American traditions. She also provided us with handouts that were extremely helpful in keeping up with what she was saying without having to take notes the whole time! With times moving toward the 'big box' shopping ideals, my friends and I try to give our business to the ones we know care about what they do as well as their customers; you could tell right away that every business we visited with Beth was one of those places. The food and drinks we tasted were amazing - we even went back to purchase some of the things we tried after the tour. If you want to get to know the area and you only have a little time to do it this is a great tour. If you have visited but didn't really know where to go to shop for authentic foods this is a great tour for you. We have been talking about the tour for days after we did it. I will definetly recommend this tour to others!

Michele Topor delivers an excellent tour of the North End! Her comprehensive knowledge of the region and its history, as well as her culinary expertise makes the tour engaging and delightful. Each moment was more tantalizing than the one before and the three hours flew by. Initially interested in the activity as entertainment for out-of-town visitors, I am greatful to have been introduced to the richness of neighborhood mere blocks from my apartment. I cannot wait to return to the North End for future adventures. Thanks so much, Michele!

this is a great tour; both for people interested in the history of the North End as well as foodies. This is the second time I've taken this tour & it only gets better!!!!

This is my second tour with Michelle Topor. Her knowledge of Italian food, history and the North End all combine for a delightful three hours. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of Boston and food!

The tour was great fun. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Only problem...really tough to get a parking spot. Bank on an extra $15 for parking or get explicit details as to how to get there by subway.

We were an exended family celebrating the 80th birthday of an Italian-born relative, who himself is a true renaissance man. Michele (Topor) was incredible: knowledgeable, passionate, fun and full of practical information. Our group was made up of men and women of all ages - 40's to 80, and eveyone, without exception, loved the tour and learned a lot. . It was a fabulous way to celebrate a family event by doing something fun and educational on a magificent fall day in Boston's North End.

My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves and learned so much. Jim. I believe who was our tour guide, was filled with a wealth of information. He answered all questions and really enlightened us. Would recommend this tour to anyone going to Boston.

Have been on this tour 4 times! Enjoyable each time. New friends who come with me will also return.
