I had read the reviews of this tour prior to booking. Actually I debated if the cost was justified. It is and more. Our guide, Beth, spoke with knowledge and experience of true Italian dining and food preparation. While it was a cold day, we had time indoors. I thought we would not get to sample; wrong. Each host establishment seemed to know Beth personally and adapt their offerings to our needs. One small grocery gave us warm soup to stave off the cold. I loved the event, for its content and for the sense that I spent 3 hours in a great neighborhood, learning about food and enjoying a community that supports eating well. Thank you. |

This was the second tour for my husband and myself. Last one being about 5 yrs. ago. We decided to take another tour and take our 24 yr. old daughter with us. She's a "foodie" and we all had a great time. Got some great tips and enjoyed all the "sampling". |

The tour was excellent. It was informative and the time went by quickly. The informational sheets distributed by the guide were very informative. On tour, when I took a deep breath in some of the stores and closed my eyes I could imagine being back in Italy. My only suggestion is that the tours be limited to a maximum of eight people per tour because the shops are small and space is at a premium in each store. We had thirteen people on our tour and the customers at the stores intermingled with us (that was fine) but the stores got very crowded at times and left little room for the people on the tour to maneuver out of the way of the paying customers while trying to pay attention to the narrative provided by our guide. |

A friend recommended that I take the North End Food Market tour. What great advice! Our guide Jim did a wonderful job giving the group the historical background of "Little Italy", useful culinary info as well as an insider's view of this unique, picturesque neighborhood! Next time I'm in Boston, I will do the Chinatown Food Market tour for sure! |

Very interesting to hear about the history of the North End and the nuances of life there. The tour guide was great and made us very comfortable in our group. Liked it so much, we'll be considering the tour of ChinaTown. |
