We were anticipating a great time but we were just thrilled with how wonderful the tour really was. Right from the start , Beth was a wealth of knowledge and an enthusiastic tour guide. She made us all feel very comfortable and welcomed throughout the afternoon. Her love for the Italian culture and food is evident as she shares excellent information regarding the North End of Boston, Italian foods, wines and Italian history. We are born and bred Bostonians and we learned more than you can imagine during Beth's tour. In addition, the local North End stores and merchants that we visited were extremely gracious. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that is interested in cooking, eating, drinking or anything related to the Italian Culture, it's really a gem of a tour!

| Michele did a fantastic presentation - she is clearly passionate about her neighborhood! It was nice to get an "inside look" at an area of Boston I have always enjoyed.

This tour was very informative. I learned a lot about the Italian cuisine. I appreciated to get the paper work with map and locations. I loved having the samples in every shop.

My son and I have been to the North End literally hundreds of times and not known some of these wonderful businesses existed. My guest from California was visiting the North End for the first time. We all thoroughly enjoyed our day. There was something for everyone! The food was great, the guide was wonderful. We stayed on our feet for a long time, but it wasn't that much walking, my guess would be less than a mile. Our only recommendation would be to take the earlier tour, allowing time to return to all those wonderful spots for shopping afterward. Our tour ended at 6PM and lots of shops are closing by that time.

We take many tours when vacationing and this was one of the most interesting. It was a very good tour of the markets and stores; however, it would have been even better to tour one of the restaurants or trattorias. Geared to adults who enjoy food and a history of the neighborhood. Children would not enjoy this event.

This was a great introduction to the North End! We learned about culture, history, food and cuisine. The tour was a perfect size - 13 - and a perfect length to cover all the information. We used it as an opening act for a three day sisters weekend. We all benefitted from our guide's store of knowledge and later returned to every shop we had visited. Thanks for the fun!

This tour was very special. My husband and i weren't sure what to expect, but we found Michele to be extremely knowledgable and entertaining, and we found the ground and information covered in the tour to be really interesting and unique. Her enthusiasm and passion were infectious. My husband is in the restaurant industry, and even he learned many things about food, cooking and ingredients! Overall, we both highly recommend this experience. It was the only tour that we went on during our 3 day trip to Boston, mainly because after having completed it, we felt that we learned so much about Boston, its communities and history that it would be difficult to top!
