This was by far the highlight of our trip! Jim was extremely knowledgeable, patient, sensitive to everyone's needs. We learned so many things. We went back to several of the places we toured and purchased items mentioned during the tour. The information given helped us to determine places to go and eat and they were all good. I would recommend that you use the restroom before leaving on the tour. It is a few hours.

Our tour guide was wonderful, but long winded. We ended up ditching out on the tour. We thought it would be more of a food tour, but we thought it was mostly a info tour and the kind of food and the orgins. But again tour guide was good. Just wasn't for us.

Enjoyed the tour and history of the area. It was great fun. Tour Guide, Jim. was entertaining, knowledgeable and considerate. We would definitely recommend to our friends. The only part we did not fully enjoy was the restaurant that was recommended. The food was fair. We would have rather have gone to a more authentic Italian restaurant and with better food.

Our tour guide was terrific. As a former chef his knowledge was detailed and very informative. Just learning about olive oil and balsamic vinegar was worth the tour. The food tastings were delightful.

Our tour guide for the day was Beth who was well informed and willing to share her knowledge. The three hours flew right by. Our group now feels much more comfortable entering the stores of the North End to browse and shop. We also feel the need to book a trip directly to Italy. At the completion of our tour, we went back to four of the stores to purchase goods and experience more of "Italy". What a great way to spend time with family and loved ones.

Excellent tour. Very knowledgeable guide. For a lover of eating and cooking Italian food, this was a very interesting experience for me. I worked in the North End for 14 years, but I learned more than a few new things. Fantastic recommendations for restaurants and stores to purchase authentic food. Highly recommended!

Our company has an annual summer outing and this year we chose this tour. There were nine of us and our group ranged in age between 23 and 60 (most of group in their twenties). Our office has a lot of "foodies" and this tour was perfect. Very interesting and informative. We learned SO much about Italian and Italian American cuisine. The stops were well thought out and our guide, Jim, was EXCEPTIONAL. Now we're anxious to do the Chinatown tour next summer. I've already recommended this tour to many of my friends. Well done!

I lived everything about this tour. I did, and will, go back to the places we visited. I learned a lot about good ingredients and how and why to buy.

Jim was our tour guide on a lovely summer day in Boston. He had a lot of knowledge about food and the area. There were many things I learned, but more importantly, there were so many yummy things that i got to taste. Some of the shops are very small and very tight with the tour group in them, so please make sure you follow directions and don't bring any large bags. I would go on this tour again as well as their tour of Chinatown. My only regret is that I was so interested in the food that I didn't take any pictures!

This is a fantastic experience. Even if you grew up in the Boston area, you can learn so much about shopping and eating and cooking Italian. You get to sample things along the way. The tour guide I had, Beth, was so knowledgeable and made it a great experience. I have done this tour twice now, once with friends and once with my family. Both times were terrific. I heartily recommend this tour.
