| Even though it was listed as a culinary tour.......several buildings with history could have been pointed out (North Church, Paul Revere, etc)
I expected more walking......I would have preferred more walking to standing....
I would have loved to have seen someone making /or baking something.......a little demonstration would have been nice.
The tour was very informative and fun.
Overall....thumbs up! |

| Our young guide had lots of enthusiasm for food and for Boston's North End. He did a nice job showing us contrasts between what we might find in our local supermarket and authentic Italian selections. The difference was frequently quite dramatic, and the real Italian flavors were always the best. There were plenty of great Italian foods, drink, sweets, and condiments to sample--sample, mind you, not dine on-- and all quite delicious. It was a fun trip. Glad we signed up! Afterwards we were given some insider tips on choosing a great North End restaurant to cap off our tour. |

| Paul did a great job. My friends and I had a wonderful time and learned things we were not aware of....very informative. I would, and have recommended it to several people. We went back and purchased many items after the tour. All and all we had a wonderful time. Thanks! |

| Fascinating tour from the history of the North End, the transformations from Italian to Italian American. I felt like I should've been taking notes because I learned so much! Thanks for a fun tour. It was perfect for our work team building event. |

| We had a very good guide who taught us a lot about the Italian flavors and customs. I would recommend this tour to any of my friends who have some time and opportunity to explore Boston. |

| We really enjoyed this tour, however, not being serious cooks, we thought the tour guide could have been a little bit more entertaining instead of merely giving copious information. Overall though, we had fun seeing a portion of Boston we had never been to before. |

| I found out about this tour from a friend. My husband and I visit the North End quite frequently, so I thought this would be a good idea for his birthday. We attended the tour on a chilly Saturday afternoon. Our guide's name was Dick and he was wonderful! We visited many markets that we never knew about! My husband's parents are originally from Sicily, so for him, this tour was like being with his family!Thank you for helping us make a great memory! |

| My sister-in-law, my niece and I came to the North End to sample food and see the historic stores and restaurants. Dick was so well-informed and showed us all of the original stores and told us wonderful stories about the area. Although I've been to the NE many times, I didn't know a lot about it's history. We had a great time, even in the very cold morning.
I was a tad disappointed in the tiny amounts of food we were given. The tastes were the same samples that people coming in and out of the shop were given. I guess I was expecting that we would be sitting down and having small portions of food on plates or napkins. It seemed that the entire admission price goes to the guide and the company, rather than to purchase of food from the purveyers. Perhaps by charging a tiny bit more, you could increase the sample sizes a bit.
Thank you for this enlightening experience!
