| It has been two years since I visited magical Italy, and have not been able to eat a frozen ravioli since. I bought some during the tour at Monica's, sausage at D&R Meat. Delish!
Beth was fun, informative and easy to get along with. It's easy to see she lives to talk about her favorite subject - Italy. It's another world down there. I will vist Maria's for her ricotta pie before the Holidays.
Learned a lot about the North End and the traditions of its people.

Our tour guide had a love for the area; knew the people and their businesses very well; gave many tips on the ingredients for Italian cuisine. Presentation was well thought out and thorough. We stayed in the North End and enjoyed lunch at one of the restaurants. The only thing I would change is to have the food tips given to us on a fact sheet.

It rained extremely hard on Sat morning but it went unnoticed because of the very enjoyable tour and extremely pleasant and informative tour guide! I have recommended this tour to many of my friends so that they can learn and eat through the tour. Thanks!

My husband and I have been to the North End many times and have seen the tour walking around. Our tour guide and people in the group were great. We now have an appreciation for some of "hidden treasures" of the area that we've walked by and never experienced. Looking forward to booking the tour in Chinatown next!

We enjoyed the North End tour very much. We loved visiting the bakery, the salumeria and Polcari's and meeting the colorful people that give such character to the neighborhood. The information provided was interesting, relevant and useful and our guide was extremely knowledgeable in the topics discussed. We appreciated getting a taste of what it would be like to live in the North End; as well as some of the rich cultural history. The food samples were fun and the proprietors of each store were extremely accommodating. We learned a lot and I feel we definitely got our value for the money we paid. It was a very special part of our Boston trip and we would absolutely do it again!

Enjoyed Jamescommentary & helpful hints/tips on how to cook "real" Italian- and how to use ingredients and spices to enhance ones meal. Really enjoyed the tour and went back to buy things from various vendors we had visted!

Born and raised in Boston and now currently residing on the North Shore, I thought I had seen it all. Boy was I wrong. This has got to be the best way to see and "do" the North End! History and food combined to produce a well informed, fun and delicious tour! Jim, our tour guide knew the Italian Boston and enjoyed what he was doing.

Loved the tour. Got some great tips on markets and restaurants in the North End. Enjoyed learning about the different Italian ingredients (and tasting them too). Highly recommend the tour.
