This was an excellent tour. We had a great time even in the pouring rain. I thought I was passably familiar with both the North End and Italian foods but I realize now how much I didn't know. Learned a lot!

This just reinforced my love of the North end and gave me some great info. I feel much more comfortable heading into Boston and shopping there as well as eating there - which was the only thing I used to do.

Both enjoyed very much. Learned many food facts, usage, and taste appeal. Have already recommended to two people heading to Boston in the near future. Guide was a wonderful free spirit, knowledgeable about the North end area and Italian and Italian American food differences. Loved going into the shops and experiencing everything first hand!

Although familiar with the area I wanted to learn about some of the hidden jewels. This was accomplished and the guide was very knowledgeable. Would recommend this to people interested in cooking and those interested in the history of the neighborhood.

| The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and I learned a lot of Italian food and eating in general. I was disappointed in how few samples we received and the tiny size of them when we received them. On the Greenwich Village tour we did in New York, the price was less, we learned a lot of history and... the food samples were plentiful., ie... a rice ball for each person., multiple samplings of different breads and cheeses, olives etc... Pieces of candy, a piece of pizza, each of us got our own cannolli freshly filled., and a falafal sandwich. On this tour Michelle took 5 cookies for 13 people and cut them up in little pieces. At many of the stops there was no sample at all. This was a food and walking tour, but it was very slim on the food.

Great time. We love Italy and this tour was a wonderful review of everything Italian in the food category. We learned a lot about regional variations that we were not aware of even after several trips to Italy. I am not sure that we have a source in the Washington, DC area where we can get all those special things that they showed us but we are sure going to look. Hand-outs were provided to help you keep it all straight. I recommed it highly.

Our guide was a perfect match to the tour- a fun atmosphere and lots of bits of info about the neighborhood and a good rapport with the shopkeepers had us going back on our own to further explore that unique area. Thanks for the positvely great tour. Mind you even though it was raining it was still a ball.

Michele Topor is fun, engaging, and knows not only about all Italian cuisine, but also commands an historical perspective of the North End. The toured shops are wonderful and the delicious morsels along the way are abundant. Fun, jam packed with helpful shopping tips. I will be going again!

The tour was packed with tons of information about Italy, Italian food and cooking, and the North End of Boston. We came away with our heads brimming and our feet tired, but both of us agreed that it was one of the most enjoyable afternoons we have had (even despite the rain). We are already planning our next trip back in order to further explore and enjoy all that the North End has to offer.
