| I bought this tour as a present to my sister who loves the North End and didn't expect to enjoy it so much myself! We were both very entertained by the tour and our guide who gave the perfect amount of information--wasn't overwhelming, but we learned a lot. Next summer we plan to do the Chinatown tour as we bet it will be just as fun. | ||||||

| I loved all the culinary info., the tour guide was well informed and fun. My husband was dissappointed because he thought it would include more history rather than food. I thought we had plenty of both. | ||||||

| Our tour started on time, was filled with history and flavor. We visited quite a few shops and were treated nicely by all. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in cooking, eating, Boston history, or just something fun to do. The concierge at the Ritz Carlton was unfamiliar with the tour so I shared my positive experience! Thank you. | ||||||

| Jim was the perfect guide. He was knowledgeable about the North End and Italian cooking, sharing information with enthusiasm and engaging the group. We thought we knew about the area and about Italian cooking but we learned so much about regional differences, why Italian and Italian-American cooking is different and the historical reasons for that. We loved the places he took us for tasting and went back to several afterward to make some purchases. In the future we will further explore the list of recommendations. We are looking forward to joining Jim on a tour of Chinatown. | ||||||

| My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour, along with our 16 year old son who is just beginning to enjoy cooking. History of the area, guide to the best shops, samplings of delicacies, & general immersion in the culture was wonderfully presented by our guide, Jim. With my husband and I from Italian descent, (my father was born in the Abruzzi region), we understood the concept of 'agita' and appreciated the spot-on description of the native Italian pallet and the adjustments made to it in America. An easy area to walk, we now feel confident enough to explore the markets on our own. Bravo Jim, Michele, and the North End Market Tour. | ||||||

| I had high expectations for this tour as it was strongly recommended by a friend. My expectations were exceeded. Our tour guide, Jim, was very knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining. My friends and I gained a lot of valuable information about Italian cooking and ingredients and got great tips on where to shop for ingredients (for those not from Boston, you can purchase from these shops online). We also learned a lot about the North End and all of us are locals who have been to the North End many times. We received a list of Michelle and Jim's favorite restaurants and have already visted 2 we had not previously been to. Both restaurants were excellent so the list will be used many more times in the future. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in Italian cuisine. | ||||||

| We took a food tour last summer in NYC and loved it. We booked this tour hoping for the same. It was a good tour but did not cover as much ground. There were fewer stops with less treats to sample. In NYC we also were able to preview some great resteraunts in the village. Although the guide in Boston was great it just didn't cover as much as the tour in NYC. We finished the tour in NYC stuffed from all the samples. After the Boston tour we were hungry! | ||||||

| We had a great time being introduced to the small shops of the North End. We love to cook with wonderful ingredients. After the tour we went back and purchased several things that we are using almost daily. Many thanks. Lynn | ||||||

| My friends and I recently took the Boston Chinatown Tour. Our tour guide, Jim, was amazing and shared his knowledge of Chinese culture from his first hand experience of living in Taiwan. The tour helped us become more familiar with Boston's Chinatown and encouraged us all to make a return visit to sample more Chinese barbeque and especially the Dim Sum. Our group would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Boston. It was excellent. | ||||||

| My husband and I enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide was fantastic . He really gave us a flavor of the neighborhood and the food. I returned to the north end with friends for the next couple of days after our daily classes. I was able to share our experince each time. We felt like we were a part of the neghborhood, because we had learned so much during the tour. We are from Washington state and will certainly recommend your tour. I wish we would have had time for your other tours but we will be back to Boston and will take advantage of your other tours. My grandfather came from Italy, my mother, his daughter, lives with us so she has really enjoyed the stories we have brought back to share with her. Our only regreat we can not remember the tour guides name. He was wonderful and we would like to sing his praises using his name. If you could share it with us it would be great. We thought it was Jim but am not certain. | ||||||

| The group leader gave a thorough overview of the North End before we started the tour. He was very knowlegeable of the area, and the establishments we visited. I really appreciated the variety of the places we visited. Each place was unique in its own way. Adding a couple more resturants to the tour would add to this enjoyable experience. | ||||||
