We really enjoyed all aspects of the tour. The introductory history of the North End and the talk about regional Italian cooking were helpful in setting the context for the rest of the tour. We liked having handouts as a reference for later. The stops were all interesting in different ways, and the "taste treats" were perfect for the settings. Our only suggestion would be to know in advance where the next stop is - the walking pace was brisk, and the North End was VERY crowded. Sometimes it was hard to keep up with the group. Overall, Jim the "tourguide" was knowlegable, friendly, and good about answering questions. We had a great time and I'm already telling people about this little "in town" vacation.

It was a great gift and we had fun! I feel much more confident in the North end and where to go! Our guide was great...I forget his name but he looked like sean connary and was from Rockport!

Both the Asian food tour and the North End food tour were top-notch. Our guide, Jim, was very knowledgable and engaging. The time flew by as we learned about the history of the Chinatown area, Asian cultures and the foods that came out of those cultures, and where all the best Asian food can be found in Boston's Chinatown accompanied by tasty samples and a Dim Sum lunch to top it off! If we return to Boston, we will definitely be checking out whether there are any other food tours with Michele Topor, Inc. to go on.

We took the North End tour on a recommendation from my daughter. She had seen your website and thought we would enjoy it on our next trip to Boston. She was right on. Our guide, Jim, was very knowledgeable about the area and food in general. We learned much about Italian food, shopping for ingredients back home and places to eat in the North End. We also enjoyed learning about the history of the area, etc. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Boston who loves Italian food.

It was great...the subject matter...italy and italians...our leader was very informatiave and easy to understand....samples were yummy and the day was splendid...not a cloud in the sky....

A Great tour!! Being a local, I was hesitant, but learned so much about the North End I never knew. Michelle is a pilar of information, and you leave wishing it was longer. Really gets you excited to get back in the kitchen and try new things or make your old recipies better. Many thanks

I thought the tour was adequate. The guide was informative and knowledgeable, but I think more shops/stores and maybe even a restaurant or two could have been included. I would say that this tour would be more suitable for someone who has never been to the North end.

We weren't sure at first, but once we met our guide, we were intrigued. We cannot wait until the advanced tour is released.

If you are in Boston and have the opportunity to take this tour you will not be dissapointed.

It can't stress how much you are missing if you don't take this tour. The tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. The people in the shops that we visited were very welcoming and the food samples were amazing. I can't stop talking about this tour to my friends and would highly consider doing it again, when I visit Boston again. The history of the North End is amazing. You can't miss this tour when in Boston.

We were celebrating my mom's 75th birthday so my sister and I took her on this tour. It was fabulous! Jim, our guide, was wonderful! My only wish is that we'd had some time to buy goodies in each store! I
