Tour guide ( Dick) was very knowlegable and enjoyable to be with. I would recommend adding 1 or 2 stops and shortening 1 or 2 visits. Perhaps a restraurant or something with a little different twist than the markets. I have recommended it to others. Thanks.

My friends and I loved the tour. Jim, our tour guide, was great--very informative and interesting. We all felt the tour was well worth the money spent, esp. considering all the free samples! I've been recommending it to friends already.

We were able to take advantage of all of Jim's expertise and all that those small shops had to offer because there were four of us. I cannot imagine having done that tour with 15. It was fabulous and my daughter and I learned an amazing amount of information in that three hours. The handouts were very well done and are continuing to help us with our cooking at home. I will tell all my friends about this and my son who lives in Boston as well.

This tour provided great insight into authentic Italian cuisine. Our guide was wonderful. Great sense of humor and good personality for this type of tour. He knew a great deal about the cuisine, especially since he was a chef. I would recommend this tour to anyone going to Boston. I've been on a similar tour of the Chelsea Market in NYC, but I really enjoyed the cooking tips and lessons provided by in the North End tour.

We had a wonderful day to walk around the north end. The group was not too big. The tour guide was very interesting and well informed. We learned lots of interesting information.

Our guide was terrific and the tour was wonderful. I learned about new stores and new products and wanted to try everything. We were served many wonderful tastes, which did their job of enticing me to buy lots of good Italian specialties. I highly recommend this tour to locals and visitors alike!!

A group of us took this tour with guide Jim. We had a great time! Had lots of tasty food samples and learned about Chinatown history. Even though our group had been to Dim Sum many times before still learned things and tried a new restaurant and few new dishes. The handouts provided enable you to go back to the stores and places you visited later. Highly recommend!

Jim was our tour guide on a lovely summer day in Boston. He had a lot of knowledge about food and the area. There were many things I learned, but more importantly, there were so many yummy things that i got to taste. Some of the shops are very small and very tight with the tour group in them, so please make sure you follow directions and don't bring any large bags. I would go on this tour again as well as their tour of Chinatown. My only regret is that I was so interested in the food that I didn't take any pictures!

This was the best 3 hours spent. We did the New York walking tour before and this was so much better. So much to learn, our guide Jim was so good with history of the place, food and shopping tips... I recommend this tour to all who likes to cook and learn about food... a must.

Our tour guide brought to life the finer points of traditional Italian ingredients and cuisine as well as where to go to purchase them. We visit family in Boston every year and will definitely be returning to these shops .

Dick was great tour guide. We got wonderful information and even met the mayor in the pastry shop! Loved the snacks, not too much walking, great to end with limoncello at the wine shop! Will highly recommend this tour to others.
