| I recently moved to the area and this was a wonderful way to learn about the neighborhood, it's culture, history and all it has to offer. Our group was lucky to have Michele as tour guide and she was wonderful! It would have taken me years of living here to learn all I did in one morning! Whether you live in the city, the suburbs or are on vacation, this is a must-do. | ||||||

| I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Michele gave an incredible amount of information in a very relaxed casual manner. The stores we visited were terrific, and the samples yummy. | We had been to the shops and through the North End before, but this gave us all the history to really understand the community! Michele was an excellent guide, full of information with a great personality! We had fun and sampled many foods I would have never done on my own! I highly recommend this tour! | ||||||

| The four of us thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the North End. We frequent it ourselves for dinner but it was interesting learning about the neighborhood also. The tour guide was superb and knew his history of the area and foods of Italian cooking. However, we were famished and stopped for a delightful lunch at the end of the tour and then went back to Maria's for dessert. I feel that for the money we paid there should have been more sampling. The cold cut shop and Maria's Bakery were the only real sampling. It was stated that you do not give any of the vendors money. There were 13 of us. You are then making a killing on these tours. | ||||||

| I thought the tour guide was excellent, friendly and seemed to know his stuff. I enjoyed hearing about the history of the North End. I thought all the stores we stopped at were great and of course the free samples were delicious! My only negative thing about the tour was that I thought it was a bit too long. I think 2 hours would be great. The last hour seemed too never end. But we had a great time! | ||||||

| The tour leader was well informed and communicated well. The culinary and historical information was interesting and educational, both for the cook and the non-cook in the family. There was a good variety of establishments visited. | ||||||

| Michele Topor's North End Italian Market Tour was much more than I expected. She is a wonderful and knowledgeable guide of anything Italian, be it in the North End area or Italy. Her tour information gave me new insights to eating, cooking and good health tips all while walking through the most charming and friendly neighborhood in Boston. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Boston, especially if you are interested in learning from the best about Italian foods. The stores we visited were very friendly with wonderful goods and after the tour, I went back to 3 of them and purchased items (Maria's Bakery Shop shouldn't be missed!). I also ended the day with dinner at the restaurant, Artu, that she recommended! It was excellent! | Having been to Italy myself twice, and my fiance having lived there for a time, we were surprised that we learned so much from Michelle. She was extremely informative and her tidbits were interesting from multiple perspectives. She had great knowledge not only of the North End itself, but also food chemistry and history. Highly Recommended! | ||||||

| Michelle gives much information on the North End, the Italian culture and the food of the North End. As a couple who enjoys the historical information and particurlarly the information on the cuisine, we cannot overstate our enjoyment of this tour. Michelle is informative and entertaining. We recommend this tour wholeheartedly. | ||||||

| Fantastic highlight of the best the North End has to offer. Very knowledgable guide was able to tell us about the history and culture of the area in addition to teaching us about Italian cuisine. Take the morning tour so you have ample time to explore the shops and restaurants afterward. | ||||||

| We were a little nervous about a three hour walking tour, but since we are from the local area, felt that if it was too much walking in the heat, we could just end the tour when and where we wanted. We are familiar with the North End, and have eaten at many restaurants. However, the tour was fabulous, we gained new insights to the North End, learned a LOT about the local foods, wines, oils, deli, and produce. It was a great way to spend an afternoon feeling like a local. It is only a seven minute walk, never very far from the next stop, and very well worth it! The tour guide was informative and fun, and we never felt like there was a dull spot! We noticed that we were the oldest members of the group and the average age was 30...all you baby boomers out there can do this tour! It is not three hours of solid walking! Lots of stops, lots of samples and lots of fun! | ||||||
