| I have lived in and around Boston for 49 years and thought I knew as much as I cared to know about the North End. Boy, was I wrong! Excellent inside information about local shops, wonderful insight into the food and the history of the area. I know there are many foodies out there. This was a well spent three hours. | ||||||

| The tour with Michelle was WONDERFUL! We had a great time walking around the North End (a true neighborhood). Michelle is incredibly knowledgeable about the history and present of the area. She seemed to know everyone and everyone seemed to know her. The tour was well laid-out and paced perfectly. We were never rushed and were able to ask questions and get more information as requested. Highlights for us were the pastry shop, the deli, and the coffee shop. Tastes were offered at each stop and in between stops, we got to hear about what things were like over the past 50 years or so in the North End. We felt as though we'd walked back in time...it never felt like 2008 during the tour. We would highly recommend it to tourists and locals alike. Well done! | ||||||

| This is our second time. Loved it so much the 1st time that we took friends. Beth our guide was terriffic, humorous, knowlegeable and enthusiastic. Great time that goes by so fast. | ||||||

| My husband and I attended the Chinatown tour for our 10 year anniversary. We had been to Chinatown to eat and shop in the stores a few times before, but never ventured into the markets, bakeries, and butcher shops. It was great. Jim was impressive with his knowledge of the area and culture. All of the stops on the tour were interesting and most involved yummy treats. I especially loved the Chinese market. It was bustling and crowded, but had so much to offer. The Dim Sum lunch was delicious. It was especially nice to be able to sit and absorb some of the things we learned throughout the day. We can't wait to come back and explore some more. This tour is a "must do" whether you are local or new to Boston. | ||||||

| As an Italian from New York, It was very interesting to learn all about the food, drinks and culture. Finding out what is real Italian and what is really American. I learned alot during the tour. Tasting food from the Bakery, Deli, Candy and Liquor Store was good. Afterward My sister and I shopped in Maries Bakery, the last Liquor store and ended up eatting dinner in that area from the list of restaurants that we received. The Tour Guy Jim really knew alot and was very good. The next time i go to Boston to see my nephew in Northeastern College, we will eat in the North End. I would like next time to go on the Chinatown tour. | ||||||

| This tour provided great insight into authentic Italian cuisine. Our guide was wonderful. Great sense of humor and good personality for this type of tour. He knew a great deal about the cuisine, especially since he was a chef. I would recommend this tour to anyone going to Boston. I've been on a similar tour of the Chelsea Market in NYC, but I really enjoyed the cooking tips and lessons provided by in the North End tour. | ||||||

| Being of Italian decent, this was a trip down memory lane! This tour is well worth your money and time. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour informative and fun. The tastings were scrumptious but the little tidbits of information were priceless. We can't wait to go back and shop! | ||||||

| We loved the tour! Jim was our wonderful guide, and he made the day very fun and personal. We had a great time wandering through the shops, and really felt like we learned a lot along the way. I would really recommend this tour, and am already lining up a new group to go with me! | ||||||

| This tour was absolutely fascinating. I grew up in an Italian family and could relate to everything but, after all these years, finally know why traditions are what they are. I also learned so much about shopping for Italian products - the origins, what to buy, and more importantly, what not to buy. Our guide was phenomenal - he guided us for three hours but I could've listened to him for another three hours. I highly recommend this tour to anyone remotely interested in eating or preparing Italian food. I've been telling everyone I know about this tour - and many are now booking theirs! | ||||||

| Michele's tour was truly the highlight of our trip and we have already sent the recommendation for the tour to others when they visit Boston. What a treat! The history of the Northend is rich as are the people and culinary delights. We can't wait to go back. | ||||||
