I can't say enough good things about the experience we had on our tour of Boston's North End. The limited size of our group made it more intimate and our guide was not only knowledgeable, but passionate about Italian cuisine and tradition. She made me and my family excited enough to come back to the North End for a traditional Italian dinner and some shopping that same evening. Bravo!

The tour guide was well informed about the history of the area. The merchants we visited were very cordial. Food samplings were meager compared to the NYC food tours.

We had a lovely time in the North End of Boston. My husband and I along with our two adult daughters enjoyed the tour. We have been to the North End many times; however, it was great to see the many different places. So often we have walked past these wonderful establishments. Can't wait to go back.

The guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. Otherwise, the tour did not meet our expectations as we were comparing it to the taste of New York City. During the NYC tour we tasted local dishes, desserts, ingredients and beverages. After rereading the promo of the taste of Boston, we realized the tour was more about the ingredients used in Italian foods and not the actual foods. So I guess the comparison is not a fair one. We would have like to sample actual dishes at local restaurants which would have enticed us to come back for a full dinner. The bakery was the only place that we returned.

Beth was the best tour guide I've ever had! Her knowledge of the North End was exceptional and she could answer any questions we had. Her narrative was superb and included both an historic perspective as well as anecdotal stories. After the 3 hour tour, we spend an additional 3 or 4 hours in the area.

We wanted to learn more about Chinatown, its history, food, culture and people. Our tour guide was fantastic - incredibly knowledgeable, very passionate about the subject. The tour "demystified" what's in all the boxes, bags and windows in Chinatwon. Phenomenal tour, great experience!

Our tour guide was knowledgeable about the area, about cooking, the history of Chinatown, and was able to keep us fascinated the entire 3.5 hours, ending with a terrific Dim Sum. What a terrific and tasty way to learn! I am thinking about who I want to give gift certificates to.

Our guide, Dick Meany, was wonderful. Dick provided us with funny anecdotes, cooking tips, and lots of knowledge about Italian ingredients and dishes on his tour. Some things to consider: I would recommend a shorter tour for less money, as three hours grew a little bit tedious. Sometimes it was also difficult to hear Dick speak over ambient noise. Overall, my group and I had an enjoyable experience. Thank you!

Mom and I enjoyed the history of the North End. The food samplings were charming and the shops all very friendly. The Tour Guide, Jim, was knowledgeable, enthusiatic and kept us engaged. We were not rushed and the "saunter" through the North End roads were great. Besides this, I learned much about how Balsamic Vinegar is created, what olives not to eat, and to recognize a superior Italian cheese. Thanks so much for this wonderful experience. I highly recommend it to any one who likes to cook Italian

Jim did a great job of leading our tour with tidbits of history and practical knowledge of authentic Italian ingredients! We sampled some great tidbits at various markets and learned the differences between truly authentic ingredients and what is commonly sold here in the states. This was the highlight of my trip to Boston and I enthusiastically recommend it! Thanks Jim!

Our guide Jim was extremely entertaining and informative. He was so knowledgeable not only about the markets we toured but gave a great overview of the history of Italian-American food and culture. The tour was appropriate for all age groups. I took my Mom and next time will be back with my husband!

Loved navigating the "less traveled" streets of the North End, while hearing about the history of the region and the culinary delights of Italy. Loved every bit of it. Our guide was so informative and a pleasure to have as our guide, while discovering so many new and wonderful markets in the North End.

We are a group of parents of teens who were visiting Boston from Toronto, Vancouver and Texas. A local friend had raved about the tour so we signed up and weren't disappointed. We learned about the history of the area and visited lots of local shops. We tried some interesting foods and learned about vegetables, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, parmesan cheese, pastries, and the people who prepare/sell them. It was very interesting, educational and fun. I would recommend this tour to any foodie or history buff. Our guide was obviously passionate about the area and the food. Please go (even the husbands enjoyed it) ! You won't be disappointed !

The Leader was great! Lot's of cooking knowledge and history of Italian Immigration to Boston.
