Just enough food and history. Our tour guide, Jackie, was so smart and had great energy. I really feel like I got a good introduction to Chinatown and that now I can confiidently return and know what I'm doing. I'd love to go back now and get a reading from the man in the Herb store. There was just enough walking/standing/sitting to be comfortable. I would highly recommend this tour. |

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable on food and history of the North End. I presently reside in California, but am formerly from Massachusetts and learned a great deal more about the North End than when I was a Mass. resident. Our guide also offered tips on her own quick and easy recipes using local ingredients. I would recomment this tour to anyone who enjoys cooking and history. |

Maria's pastry shop began to know us. Guide was very knowledgeable of area and food. Great stories!! A must do! |

I truely enjoyed myself. Michele is an awesome tour guide full of knowledge and very personable. When people say "no question such thing as a stupid question" Michele leaves you feeling that statement is true. We were very comfortable with her. We learned so much. Cant wait to take the Chinatown tour and considering the tour of Italy. |

My husband and I went on this tour and we loved it. Lots and lots of great information about Italian food. Just enough food samples to keep us satisfied, but didn't ruin our lunch. We highly recommend! |

There were only thirteen in our group but the places they took us were so small that we had to compete with the customers coming in and out while we were trying to listen to our guide. The guide (Beth) was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job I have been to the north end many times but didn't know its history until now. |

Went with my daughter and son in law who have lived in the north end for two years. We all loved this tour. Our guide was so informative about the neighborhood, history, the shops, restaurants, the food and even suggestions on how to use and prepare the ingredients. There was so much information. Even after two years in the neighborhood, we all discovered shops, foods and tastes we never knew existed. |

My husband and I enjoyed our tour in Chinatown. This was a Birthday present for him. We had previously done the North End tour and always wanted to do the Chinatown one also. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us some helpful cooking tips and showed us great deals in the markets. |

I have to say that this was an amazing experience. I have been visiting Boston all my life and have never encountered any of the places that we went to on this tour. Beth (tour guide) was so knowledgeable and helpful with any questions she was asked. I highly recommend this tour if you love Italian cuisine and want a day with friends and have fun! |

Al was our tour guide through the North End and he did a fabulous job. We learned so much - the information and tasting regarding olive oils and balsamic vinegar was particularly helpful for me, as I love to cook and frequently use both these items. The food was routinely delicious and I even made myself try fennel (though I do not like licorice) and had to admit that sliced thinly and mixed with other flavors it was good. I highly recommend this tour but do wear comfortable shoes as you spend a fair amount of time standing (more so than walking). Also, be aware that some merchants and smaller restaurants in the North End are cash only. Be prepared with cash if you want the broadest choice of where to shop/eat. |

My friends and I enjoyed this tour very much because we live in the Boston area and didn't know much about what was available in China Town. We enjoyed learning about the history of China town, where to shop for various products, learning about food products of which we had previously been unaware, getting recommendations for restaurants serving various Chinese cuisine, and having a dim-sum lunch. It's a fun and interesting tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, engaging and fun. |

What a pleasure! Our tour guide, Jackie, was very personable and informative. We enjoyed the variety of food venues that we visited, and Dim Sum was delicious! We wouldn't hesitate to revisit Chinatown independently now that we know our way around. Thanks! |

Our guide Beth was extremely knowledgeable and patient and we were able to learn a lot about food and merchants in the North End. We went with two other couples and were amazed that we were the only ones in the larger group that tipped her at the end of the tour. Although we filled up the 3 hours, I would have liked to have been to the kitchen of one of the restaurants there as part of the tour. The food and beverage tastings were fine and just right. We went back the next day and took more than a tasting! Yummy! |

We had a great tour. The guide was extremely knowledgable in both the fine fine points of Italian foods and in the dietary customs of Italy. We had plenty of great samples. Although the tour is 3 hours, we walked only a few blocks. |
