| My 17 year old daughter and I went on the tour together and both enjoyed it equally. I highly recomend this tour for anyone interested in any of the following : the history of Boston, Italian food, health conscious people who want to understand how to eat well as well as healthy. MIchelle has amazing knowledge. The tour takes the full three hours and could really be four - we could have used more time and would have signed up for a longer one if available. It was a little rushed to fit it all in and none of it was to be missed. Be sure to plan time for shopping after the tour as you will definitely want to do that. My recomendation is to plan on shopping and lunch or dinner in the neighborhood after the tour depending on when you go. Also - please be on time as it impacts the others on the tour to have to wait for those that are late - time is short as it is. Be considerate. | ||||||

| My wife and I live only 20 minutes from Boston all our lives, but never experienced the North End. We were staying In Boston for the weekend and decided to take a tour of the North End. I checked online and decided on Michele Topor's tour. We were glad we did. The tour guide was excellent, very informative and knowledgeable about the North End. The 3 hours flew by, even though it was the hottest day of the year. Every stop , we were able to sample, foods, drinks, pastries,etc.to get the full effect of the tradition of Italy in the North End. We would highly recommend this tour. We will now make the North End a regular stop for entertainment and shopping. | ||||||

| From the beginning to the end the North End Market tour was absolutely fantastic! The combination of history, culinary advice, and Michele's unique perspective on the area and the people was thrilling. The time flew by and the information was fantastic. The information was presented in an interesting format and was followed up with samples and experiences. This is definitely one tour not to miss! | ||||||

| My wife and I took the tour as the first activity of our weekend trip. We were in town celebrating our first anniversary, and she scheduled the tour as a surprise for me (I'm a former restaurant chef/current home cook for my wife). We had such an amazing time! Our guide was knowledgable and fun, and the food was fantastic. This was a great way for people to: 1. Learn about the culture of the North End and how it has developed over time. 2. Learn about how that culture has shaped the food that is made and sold in the area. 3. Learn your way around a very interesting part of the city! In the following days we found ourselves wandering through the neighborhood shops and talking with the owners about their products and spending way too much money! Thanks for a great experience! | The tour was great. In fact, I wished it had gone on longer. The three hours whizzed by and I was ready for more. Michele is very knowledgeable and personable. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone interested in food and cooking. Michele is the best! | ||||||

| Her interactions and true friendships with the local vendors makes the tour so enjoyable. I am recommending it to everyone I know who visits Boston. I wanted to keep going. Can she start doing a second tour for new places in the North End please? | ||||||

| Michele's tour was an eye-opening experience regarding the history, food, and culture found in Boston's North End. It was an experience that involved all five senses, leaving you with special memories of the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes belonging to Boston's North End. Michele expresses an infectious enthusiasm and demonstrates a depth of knowledge that impressed me. I only wish I brought a notebook to record all the knowledge Michele had shared throughout the tour! Be prepared for an unforgettable experience of Boston's North End. | ||||||

| We have wanted to take this tour for some time since our daughter went with her school club, but have not been able to fit it into our trips to Boston. We are glad we were finally able to go. The tour was very informative and a lot of fun. We highly recommend it. The only downside is that we had sampled so much that we were too stuffed to have dinner at one of the fine restaurants in the area afterwards. | ||||||

| This tour was outstanding. Michele has unbridled energy, passion, and enthusiasm. She provided a wealth of knowledge and insights into Italian food, cuisine, customs and North End history. Michele guided the group through an assortment of aromatic experiences as we explored wonderful wine shops and markets, and sampled a variety of pastries, snacks, fruits and veggies, Italian lemon slush, meats and cheeses, and much more. Three hours flew by. Can't wait for our next visit! Highly recommended. We loved it! | ||||||

| Our guide provided a great blend of historical education, culinary knowledge, and excellent tips on local vendors and restaurants. The Italian Ice was a very refreshing treat on a summer day, and it was nice that the tour allowed for a short break to sit and enjoy. | ||||||
