| We did get a chance to see whales, sea lions, otters and sea birds up close, and the naturalist was very familiar with their habits, especially relating to the need to preserve the oceans. The captain was anxious for us to get good views of whales and did his best to make that happen. However, of the 4 hours, we spent well over 2 hours just cruising the bay, looking for wildlife, whihc got to be too long. |

| It was a great trip but a bunch of us got sick. Not your fault however - you can't control the weather. Overall it was a great expereince. The 4.5 hour trip was a bit long, we should have gone on the 2.5 hour. |

| We saw humpback whales and spent quite a bit of time following a mama and her calf, who rewarded our efforts by breaching and hanging out at the surface. We also saw a pod of killer whales, albatross, and gulls feeding. During the trip were educated on the habits, challenges, and attributes of a number of marine species including sea lions, seals, and turtles. The trip was exactly as advertised, and the experience was a once-in-a-lifetime event. One of the reasons it will be once is that I found out I get really, really sea sick despite medication so I spent about half of the trip at the back of the boat while the action was in the front! While it diminished my enjoyment, the crew was terrific and my companion had no complaints about the trip (well, except that I was nowhere around!).
We recommend this group highly, it was very well done and we couldn't have asked for anything more from the crew or the experience. |

| We were scheduled for a trip on Monday morning. We were notified by Princess Whale Watching on Sunday night that the trip was being cancelled due to potentially high winds but would be rescheduled for Wednesday, if we could make it. We also received an e-mail from Zerve telling us of this change. I was impressed by the care given by both companies concerning the reschedule.
My wife and I were very satisfied with the trip. I was concerned that a (5) hour trip would be too long and and that I would wish that I had taken a shorter trip. However, the time seemed to fly by because of all the whales (humpbacks and orcas), dolphins, sea otters, sea lions and various birds we saw. The action began shortly after we left the harbor and continued until we returned to shore. I would recommend seeing the aquarium prior to going on this trip. It helped us understand what an incredible place Monterey Bay really is.
The crew was very helpful in getting us to the action, letting us know where the animals were, and positioning us for the best view. They also gave us much information about what we were seeing and what the Bay was all about. I wish the trip hadn't ended so soon.
I was impressed that the various whale watching companies worked together to spot whales and then notifying each other of those sightings. This allowed everyone to have a successful trip. I would do this trip again. It was worth so much more than we paid for it. |

| I went on a 5 hour whale watch eco trip and really enjoyed it. Don't forget your cold weather gear and sea sickness meds if you are so inclined- it was very cold on the bay. Our trip was very foggy- but we still found many whales... some even came right next to the boat.
I would recommend this trip. |

| My husband wanted to go whale watching on his 50th birthday as something special to do and we had a great time! Even though it was a rough ride Captain Dan did a great job with the trip. There were only 2 people out of our group of about 15 that got sick and Toby the crewman made sure they had anything they needed. Gina the biologist also did a great job describing what we were seeing and where to look. We saw many Humpback whales and lots of Orcas. There were also a couple of Albatross and many other sea birds. It was our first whale watching trip and I can say there will be many more. We left at 9am and returned about 2pm; so it was absolutely well worth the money. We plan on going again on my birthday in September. |
