| Although the water was very choppy and rough, I had a great time. We did see humpback whales and also a grey whale momma with her calf. Also saw tons of Pacific Whitesided Dolphins. This whale watching tour was the highlight of my trip to Monterey. |

| Great opportunity to see whales and dolphins. Would recommend sea sickness tablets/ginger beforehand as it can get a bit choppy! |

| We saw two humpback whales feeding for about in hour. The boat was fine, although it was delayed starting out. This meant we had to wait for longer than we'd have wanted. The marine biologist on board was enthusiastic and reasonably knowledgeable. |

| There are so many variables with whale watching; the weather, the time of year for migrations, and remembering warm gear. We were happily surprised by the great weather, we were pleased we remembered our gloves and hats, and while we did see several whales at a distance, we wished we could have seen more, but it was early in the season. |

| It was a great trip but a bunch of us got sick. Not your fault however - you can't control the weather. Overall it was a great expereince. The 4.5 hour trip was a bit long, we should have gone on the 2.5 hour. |

| We are a great experience, we saw lots of whales and orcas, from real close, saw them jumping - incredible vision! Boat was nice, staff very friendly and helpful, and we spent overall 5h on the water, since we saw the orcas on the way back, stopped to watch them. Definitely recommended! |

| It is very good activity to do with friends on a good sunny day. We did it on 7th of March 09. The service is awesome. They first make sure you are seated well, take you to all the possible places where one can see whales or dolphins. We saw a bunch of 30 dolphins right next to our cruise and a group of 4 gray whales. Total worth the money and time. |

| I typically take a few freinds whale watching in Monterey every January. I have been riding with the "Monterey Whale Watching" team for the past 25 years. There must be 3-4 other outfits running whale trips, but I can say from experience the Moneterey Whale Watching team has the best boats (I go back to the Top-Gun and Magnum Force days) and the best crew and staff on the wharf. This past trip (Jan 10th) we saw about 20 Grey Whales, many very close to the boat without disturbing these oceangoing behemoths.
To watch the wonder and excitement first-timers or children display when they spot there first Cetacea is worth the price alone..... spouts and flukes abound, and the weather was sunny and calm.
Great team, and convenient web-based ticketing program. If you never have been whale watching - get out there, they should be at their peak migration right about now !! |

| Going whale watching is great fun, just make sure you have the right gear. It gets so much colder than you would expect. Jacket, gloves, and even a hat would have been great on this warm April day. I got wet in the front, and started shivering like crazy. However, all those things are tehnically my fault, not the company.
Seeing the whales in the wild, was really amazing. The knowledgeable captain was able to follow them and we kept getting really good views of time.
Note that it is a looong ride out and back, 3 hours is a long time on a boat if you're not used to it. It's pretty fun to do once in a while... |
