| The ad delivered as promised. We saw a whale in fact we were tracking one for several miles and saw it break the water at least four times. Plus we saw a lot of Dolphins which was fun. I recommend this tour | ||||||

| It was such a wonderful experience to be out there in the middle of the ocean. My boyfriend and I were dozing off because it was so relaxing. We saw PLENTY of dolphins and about 3-4 humpback whales. The weather was against us because it was a little more windy than a regular day and we were lucky to be on the 10 AM trip because they decided to cancel the rest of the trips due to weather conditions -- which reminds me, the staff was super nice! We were running late and they were nice enough to wait for us. The boat was clean and the ride was nice. Make sure to LAYER (the trip back was freezing!!) and take Dramamime for motion sickness just to be sure. Definitely going back here! | ||||||

| The boat ride was fun, bumpy, wet - fun though - although we wanted to see much sea life, there weren't any to see, except 1 whale and it's baby - luckily the whale came up and did a jump in the air as though a trick just for us. Thank GOD for that anyway, I would've been highly dissapointed for the money paid if I saw absolutely nothing and there is no refunds either. Good luck - go when there's lots to see - check the time of year first!! | ||||||

| Trip left late should have been 9am, went at 9.15am. Long trip to the Whales, but did see 3 humpback whales, time spent where the whales were was very short 10 minutes max, then straight back to shore, and arrived back before time, so we could have spent more time with the whales if we had gone out on time!! Enjoyble though. | ||||||

| We had a very enthusiastic and fun tour guide. I forgot her name but she was very good. Couldn't hear her most of the time over the motor noise though. Ship was in good shape. Clean. Liked the check in process and the free coffee and danish/muffins. Nothing you could do about it, but I was expecting a little more when it came to seeing whales. I know we had to be a certain distance away, but in doing that, the whales seemed much smaller than they really are. And, only seeing the backs and a tail made it seem like we were missing half the show. I don't know what I was expecting, but that was my take away. Otherwise, it was a beautiful, sunny day and it was nice to be on the water. | ||||||

| We enjoyed it, although we did have expectations of seeing a lot more. Obviously this is not at the discretion of the tour operator, and I understand the whales and dolphins come & go, but I wonder if they should not invest in something like spotter planes to help get their boats to the action each time, without having to look on the water. | ||||||

| What a way to spend the fourth of July. We saw at least 6 whales and were able to watch them for over an hour. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in marine life. | ||||||

| The whale watching at Monterey was wonderful experience. Moreover the office staff was very cooperative. We were impressed by their generosity. They have accommodated us with the next boat trip at 3.00 PM as we had missed the scheduled trip at 1.00. We were group of 8 friends and luckily all of us got into the next Pacific Explorer cruise. The climate was good and moderate though its summer time. The ocean drive was really awesome. Though initially we haven’t seen whale but after a long wait we could able to see a whale waving its tail. In the span of 30 minutes, we could able to see the Whale for 5-7 times. Totally it was fun filled and exciting trip. Recommendation - Atleast see it once !! | ||||||

| Whale watching 101. Bring a jacket and you gotta get lucky. We only saw one whale, a Humpback. It was still pretty amazing though. Everyone knows whales are big, but to see one in person really brings that home. The ship itself was good, well maintained. The captain and crew friendly enough. The sea was calm making for an easy ride out, but that also meant that the marine fog layer wasn't blown away making for overcast skies. I did see one interesting event. A lone Sea Lion was diving in and out of the water in a crazy zig zag pattern just in front of the boat once we were about 45 minutes out. I thought to myself, and out loud actually, why is this Sea Lion out here all by himself acting all crazy? Then it hit me. There's only one reason a Sea Lion would go all evasive. He was doing his best to avoid becoming Great White Shark lunch!! I looked and looked to see if I could see the shark but the sea was a very, very black-green that day and I saw nothing. I think the Sea Lion used the boat to his advantage as a means of distraction and escape. Smart fellow. | ||||||

| Staff was courteous. Arrive early for free coffee and muffin! We saw minke, humpback and even orca! The narrator was great, very enthusiastic and informative. I highly recommend this trip. Even if you don't see any whales, Monterey Bay is beautiful and you will enjoy the ride! | ||||||
