| We couldn't believe how many whales we saw! It was amazing and they came really close to the boat! We definitely recommend this to anyone who likes nature! One thing, make sure you bring a jacket, preferably with a wind-breaker. It gets a little cold out there and it is very windy. | ||||||

| The trip lasted for about 3 hours en during the trip we have seen several whales. Actually more than we expected to see. The captain provided during the trip helpful information about the whales and their sanctuary. | ||||||

| Wow. What an amazing experience. My granddaughter and I took the 12:00 trip. It was cold - but not that cold. The ocean was calm. No one on board got sick. Now for the good part - we saw so many whales we lost count. Everywhere you looked there were whales, whales and more whales! We saw dozens of dolphins as well, although they were the rock(?) dolphins that are a bit skiddish around boats so we had to enjoy them from a comfortable distance. We saw seals playing in the water - jumping up and twisting and turning and playing so beautifully. It was hilarious to watch. One of the most unexpected pleasant surprises was seeing numerous very(!) large jelly fish! I will definitely go again - but will try the early morning time slot next time as the 9:00 trip came back all excited because a whale had come straight up to the boat and raised its head out of the water to inspect the people on board - apparently close enough to touch! Can't wait to go again! | ||||||

| Even though my daughter and I ended up sea sick (even with patches-which may have been old) the trip was well worth it. We saw a ton of humpback whales. Fascinating! Wish we could have seen some other species but we were thrilled with what we saw. | ||||||

| the crew was very informative and attentive. we saw a huge group of dolphins and about 10 humpback whales. it was a lot of fun. this trip is great for couples and families. the boat was nice and big, very clean and comfortable! | ||||||

| The experience was fantastic...the people who ran the boat were very friendly and helpful, the whale watching was unbelievable. My wife and I have never enjoyed ourselves more; I would highly recommend the The Princess Monterey Whale Watching company, the boat's Captian did everything he could to get us as close to the whales as posible. We would like to thank them again for an enjoyable experience. | ||||||

| Whales, dolphins were great. Sea was very rough heading out of the harbour (6 foot or more). The harbour was deceptively calm. It calmed down on our way back in. Several in our family spent most of the trip trying not to get sick. | ||||||

| We've always wanted to go whale watching and finally did and ---WOW was it amazing! Just to be out in the open water watching humpback whale in their own environment was such a delight. The captain of the Princess really spent a lot of time letting us just observe the whales and just when we thought it was time to go back he announced that there were more whales a little farther out. Well worth every penny spent!!!!!!! | ||||||

| The crew and experience were well worth the money. My wife has always wanted to do the whale watching cruise and we were a bit nervous with a couple of the nay-sayers we saw on some of the various sites, but it is one of the most talked about experiences of our vacation (2 teenage daughters) who had a blast. Thanks the the entire crew for a fantastic tour!!! | ||||||

| While the weather wasn't that good, the "rocky" boattrip made it al up.The crew was really trying to spot some whales voor us, finally we saw 2 humpbacks. Unfortunately we didn't see any dolphins. Tip from the man in the ticketbooth about sunscreen, handshoes and thick jackets was a good one afterall. We got pretty sunburned but the coats were nice and warm. Looking forward to coming back again, Perry, Betty and Tim The Netherlands | ||||||

| Seeing the whales was AMAZING! The crew were great and very informative. However, there were two things I wish I had been told in advance: 1) During the 3 hour tour, we watched whales for only 30 minutes. Because most people don't read about the tours before going, perhaps the crew could verbally explain that the actual whale watching time varies depending on availability of whales, their location, or weather or whatever. 2) Several people onboard got sick. Most of these people had never been out on the ocean before and didn't think they'd have problems with motion sickness. We should have been warned that many people get sick and they should HIGHLY RECOMMEND that everyone take a motion sickness pill before we leave. I took one and it saved me. A few others weren't so lucky and this was a completely miserable experience for them. | ||||||

| We took this trip on July 25, 2009. After about a 45 minute ride out, we spotted 3 humpback whales. It was incredible to watch them and to hear them. Would definitely recommend. The guide was very knowlledgable and we learned a lot about the whales. It was cold, so do dress warm and bring a jacket. Our kids thought the experience was "Awesome". | ||||||

| Boat was too small and went too fast, causing most of the people on board to get seasick. Could've been a pleasant trip if the boat had gone more slowly. Hard to have a good time when you're vomiting. | ||||||
