Princess Monterey Whale Watching Cruises

Good trip, weather against us but captain stayed out as long as he could to find us whales which we did get to see. Also saw Dolphions, seals and pelicans.

enjoyable, saw what we went for and more. again bad weather did not help.

We traveled approx. 45 min. to reach the whales(boat trip was fun-dress warm) We had about 5 humpback whales around our boat! They were actually showing off and were extremely curious of the boats. I didn't want to leave! The crew was fantastic. It was a magical experience and I highly recommend this trip.

Even though we were only able to see humpbacks and no other kinds of whales, it was a fun trip.

After sailing out for over an hour in the fog, we thought this would be one of those trips where you don't see any Whales when suddenly 3 beautiful Humpbacks popped up at the side of the boat and stayed with us for 20-30 minutes. This was a fantastic experience as it's not something you see in York, England!! We would without a doubt go on this trip again. The Naturalist on our boat was so enthusiastic, she made the trip! Next time we would take extra clothing as it was rather cold (Oct 08).

This was an exciting adventure for our family. We got to see porpoises racing beside the ship, seals playing and barking, jelly fish by the kelp and humpback whales swimming together. One of the most unique experiences to do!

mom and i loved it, it was cold for october but well worth the cold! I had a great time and everyone should go once in there life time. the whales were awesome to see!

You should tell people to dress warmer. It was easily 20 degrees colder than the local temperature. I had two layers, a jacket, a scarf and gloves and I was still freezing which effected my enjoyment.

The cruise was nice, though very wet. We did not get close to the whales, but they were in sight. I would go again.

Wow! First time on the ocean in 50 years. Can't wait to go again. We saw at least a dozen Hump Back Whales and myriads if seal and otter. Really exciting. The crew was very friendly and professional. Cudos to all. Dick and Penny Richardson

A great adventure where seeing whales was guaranteed generally for our day; and proved to be correct. Great crew, helpful and fun. Guess sightings on the day and sunshine made the trip a highlight of vacation. Would strongly recommend. Good price as well and booking process very effecient.
