I would highly recommend this longer tour! We saw several Humpbacks and literally hundreds of dolphins (four different species). The treat of the day was to experience a Blue Whale that came up within 20-30 feet from our boat! If we had not been on the extended tour we would not have had the opportunity for this experience. The Naturalist that accompanied the tour was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic with her presentation. |

Our excursion was wonderful. Our granddaughters (ages 9 and 7) were delighted.
Seeing all the humpback whales and the dolphins was awesome. And when that one whale breached...we could hardly contain ourselves. We have all been talking about for days.
We definitely will go on another outing with you ASAP. |

My two sons ages 11 and 13 had a great time on the trip. We saw a variety of wildlife. One of the whales even breached for us and my oldest son got a photo of it jumping out of the water. None of us wanted the trip to end. Thanks! |

the crew were really good . there was no place for my husband to get on & i really wanted him to go. so they need to work on something for the disabled. |

This was the first time we visited Monterey and we would definitely do it again. Only this time, I would wear flat shoes and dress warmer. The crew were informative and the trip was exciting.

This is the first Whale Watching trip I have taken. You dont see much of the whale but I guess that was expected really.
The trip was very choppy and I felt sick. Several other other people did vomit. I think we could have had a more accurate warning about this before boarding and the facilty to obtain a refund of an advance booking if its felt that the conditions dont suit. |

We very much enjoyed our trip. The boat was clean and the crew was friendly, especially liked the naturalist who went with us. She was very informative and fun. We got to see quite a few whales which made my wife and little girl very happy. I especially enjoyed the 17 mile run out to where we saw them. It was a bit choppy and I loved standing in the front of the boat. Was like an amusement park ride...quite exhilerating. |

The longer tour (the ecotour) was worth the money. We spent quite a long time with a group of humpback whales, as well as seeing otters, dolphins, sea lions and sea birds.
I do recommend taking something for seasickness before you leave if you might be susceptible to it. Also, dress warmly. It can be cold. |
