If comfort is important book on this companies ships. They are the biggest that leave Monterey and if the bay is choppy you will be happy you did. Heated cabin and the staff do there best to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable! |

My husband and I went and were really excited about going as it was a first time adventure for us. The weather was nice, but the swells on the ocean were big and the boat felt like it was being tossed all over. We were ok for the first 30 minutes, but then started getting motion sickness. If not for that, we would have enjoyed it alot more. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the biologist narrating the tour was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. We saw a few whales and some dolphins. I would recommend this to others, along with a note to take something along for motion sickness just in case. |

The tour was great; we saw thousands of smaller dolphins, some larger dolphins, many sea lions, many birds, but only a few whales from afar. I enjoyed the trip but my husband got sick and had to join the other few people on the back railing and stay there until the tour was over. I felt bad for him, but I would do another tour to hopefully see more whales and close up this time. |

It was my first time whalewatching and was hoping to see something more like what's shown in your photo. Unfortunately the whales weren't cooperating so we were only able to see portions of their backs I assume, from a distance, and some blowing. I will definitely do it again though. |

FANTASTIC WHALE WATCHING ADVENTURE

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Wasn't sure if we were going to see any whales because the first forty-five minutes there were no sightings. It definitely got better as we spotted gray whales; a multitude of dolphins racing along side the boat; and eventually saw 2 humpbacks. The boat ride was a little rough at times as it went over the larger swells, but taking motion sickness medicine was a smart move even though it was a calm day. I highly recommend the meds if you are even slightly prone to sea-sickness. I will definitely recommend this adventure. Nature is at its best here as you appreciate the magnitude of the vast ocean and its whale and dolphin dwellers. |

Really enjoyed whale watching and the education I received from the Naturalist. We saw Grey whales and humpback whales. The humpbacks are beautiful as they come up to slap the water to get the Krill. Even though I got sea sick...I would do this again. |

I always enjoy the Monterey Whale Watching tours. Every year, I choose to go visit the whales for my birthday and they never fail to provide an awesome, informative vision of nature. |

The trip was informative and was exactly as expected. We saw whales and hundreds of dolphin swam along side of the boat on our trip back to harbor. Well worth the money spent! |

We saw Humpbacks . We saw hundreds of dolphins together! It looked as If they were boiling up out of the sea! It was breathtaking. Very informative Guide too! Plan to go again. The upstairs view is well worth the extra $$$$.

It was a beautiful but very rough sea day. Can't fix that but had hoped to see whales more "up close and personal", we were quite a distance away and the swells made viewing even more difficult. Informative though, good narration by the staff on board. |
