Princess Monterey Whale Watching Cruises

We had a wonderful time and we have seen 3 humpback whales. Special thanks to our tour guide, she was great.

Had a great time. Our guide, Catherine I think, was great. Very entertaining and knowledgeable too. Put everybody at ease. It's certainly a choppy sea but so long as you stay to the side and the rear of the boat, you'll be fine. We saw Whales which was wonderful ! If you're thinking about doing this, hesitate no more and just do it !

The whale watching was the highlight of our Californian week. To see three humpback whales 'playing' around our boat for 45 minutes was great!

We loved our guide, she was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She made the experience so much better!! Great boat and crew!

Seeing any animal in its natural environment is special but Whale Watching takes it to an all new level. If you have seen the film the Bucket List then Whale Watching should be in everyone's top 5 of things to do before you die. I recommend you experience this activity on the trips running out of Monterey California, we achieved this ambition on my wife's 50 birthday and I am glad I was along for the ride. The four nights we spent in Monterey were fantastic and the Whale Watching was the absolute best bit of the trip we came 7,000 miles from Liverpool England and it was definitely worth the time and expense. Well done everyone involved with Princess Whale Watching Cruises for making this trip so special, I think I would like to give a special mention to the Marine Biologist on the cruise who was an unexpected treat with knowledge, enthusiasm and comedy. I was in the Royal Navy for 32 years and the trips we went on were my 2 best days ever at sea. If you read these comments then you are interested. So do it and die happy.

Enjoyed seeing whales, dolphins, sea birds and sea otters. Very satisfied.

From start to finish it was amazing. Very informative throughout the trip. Not too many people on trip so everyone had a great view. Was very lucky that two whales came up to boat and showed off. I am sure I can still smell them lol

the guide was enthusiastic, the staff polite and considerate, we saw whales and the.guide explained behaviours to us. I was in Alaska 2years ago and went whale watching but saw more this trip. I was very pleased at the ethical approach this company had to whale watching trailing them but keeping a good distance there were other boats nearby who were clearly too close to the whales.

long wait, we thought we would see nothing, even no dolphins or utter, but we saw 2 whales in the end... The crew was very nice, and checked no one was sick. They gave details about the ecology of whales.

Everything worked very well, from the departure time to the courtesy of the team and an amazing experience with the whales, dolphins..
