Princess Monterey Whale Watching Cruises

The staff is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The boat is larger than many others and is therefore quite a bit more comfortable.

While we had perfect weather and a fairly smooth boat ride, our trip was a very disappointing one. The only animals spotted were dolphins and an albatross. I knew going in that there was no guarantee of seeing whales, but having traveled 3000 miles I was really looking forward to this cruise. I am not sure if I will try another if I ever get back to Monterey.

We went out in March to see the whales. Our guide gave us a lot of interesting information about the whales. Her sence of humor hurt my 10 year olds feelings. She understond and did not make anymore jokes using her. We followed the whales for about a 1/2 hour as they swam up the coast. Everyone in my party did enjoyed the experience.

Ship was very clean. staff very informative and helpful. loved it.

The whalewatching activity was far beyond our expectation. We had an outstanding time and were thrilled to watch the whales playing and splashing in and out of the water. Of course, seeing other sea creatures along the way were an added bonus. I couldn't snap my pictures fast enough. We talked about the trip frequently through the remainder of our vacation. It was definitely a highlight and I would go again. The staff were terrific. They went out of our way to make the activity fun and offered many suggestions to us so we could enjoy the event to its fullest. Thank you

Great experience.

It started great. Loved the woman that gave the tour. She was worth the ticket. We chased some Dalls' most with calves. Wild ride. Lots of sea birds as well. Wish we could have seen some whales though. Maybe next time.

The trip lasted for about 3 hours en during the trip we have seen several whales. Actually more than we expected to see. The captain provided during the trip helpful information about the whales and their sanctuary.

Great experience!! The ship was clean. Both the on-site crew and ship crew were very friendly, considerate, informed, and did an awesome job. The weather was great too, thanks for that. Learned a lot about the ocean and it's inhabitants. Would defiantly recommend and use them again.

This was our second trip out in the past 6 months, and we saw whales on both adventures. We enjoyed the trip very much. The crew was informative and friendly. My only complaint was the loudspeaker was terribly loud. I enjoyed the intermittent silences. We will definitely be back and recommend the trip highly!
