| Trip was well organized, tour guide was loud but nice. Overall satisfied, just seeing more whales would be better - which is beyond your control... |

| My husband and I took our first whale watching trip this past weekend. I would recommend this company above all else. I did research other companies and choose this company because 1)the size of the boat; (I think that is one of the most important things-thats a big ocean out there); 2) the ease of making reservations, 3) persons that greeted us were great; 4) the naturalist that accompanied us was the greatest as well as being informative; 5) crew was very knowledgeable about were the whales might be and they were; 6) the price for the trip was very good making even a person walking by able to get reservations and it didn't break their pocket book.
We had a very rocky trip especially when we got to the westernmost part. I do not hold the company responsible for the weather or the water but I have never seen so many people seasick. Even the people who took seasick meds beforehand.
A suggestion, telling people to go to the back of the boat to help with their seasickness seemed like a good idea. However, when you head to the back of the boat you are guaranteed to get sick. The diesel fuel smell is really strong back there. I know it is a good place to tell everyone who is going to get sick to go but staying back there doesn't help recover from being seasick.
Overall, it was a great trip, saw lots of whales especially on the way back in to port.

| I was a bit disappointed when my boyfriend and I showed up a half an hour early and a large amount of people were already waiting. Because they had booked the Princess on a private charter, we were forced to wait over a half an hour past our 10:00 departure time. The crew aboard was super nice and helpful though which was a major plus. They had alot to deal with since most of the boat's participants were sea sick but they still had smiles and wonderful things to say. I was astounded at their enthusiasm in such circumstances. The trip itself was fun, not what I had expected as the sea was much more rough than I would have ever imagined but we did see some whales. It was a great trip for the price and I was glad to see whales. I will make sure that the seas are a bit more calm the next time I go though!!!! |

| Booked a Whale Watching trip with the Monterey Princess and had a fabulous time. The guide was very knowledgable on the marine life. We had a 7 year old and three 15 year old teenagers with us. The 7 year old loved it, the teenagers wondered what the hoopla was about watching whales. Oh well, you can't please 'em all. |

| No doubt that the guide on the boat must've been keenly knowledgeable about Monterey Bay and it's inhabitants, never the less it appeared she exaggerated a few facts about whale migration & so on to make it more exciting or interesting. Not acceptable & her demeanor was as if she was teaching a kinder garden, overly enthusiastic which to me is a turn off, the avarage age on the boat must've been
in the mid thirties.
What is the allowable distance between the boat & the whales??
One couldn't see much!! |

| I planned this whale watching cruise as a date with my boyfriend for his birthday and it was perfect. We saw about 7-10 whales, although they were kind of far away (maybe bring or rent binoculars) it was still really fun when we spotted one. The cruise is also part of the fun. Its a really good way to spend time with someone special or just have a fun family day. The staff was really nice and made sure everyone got to see the whales when one was spotted. The water is unpredictable so if you get sea-sick take precautions but the waves don't really bother you if you stay outside of the cab and are watching the water. I recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun pleasant day in Monterey, it gives you a chance to get out onto that beautiful water! |

| We had a wonderful time, greatly enjoyed ourselves, everyone was friendly and courteous. We saw many whales, birds, no dolphins though. We would recommend this trip to everyone. Just make sure you dress nice and warm, was really cold and windy. |

| I had a great time on the trip. Crew made sure we saw a bunch of whales. Including a humpback whale which is rare for this time of year. Very informative and accomodating. I'll be back this summer to see more! |
