| We enjoyed the whale watching tour. Our tour guide was a certified marine biologist ( Kathryn) and was ver enthusiastic and funny! We also had another professional guide on board who is an orinthologist. Both guides were very approachable and answered all of our questions about the ocean, the birds, and the mammals. We had a beautiful, sunny day and we were able to see Riso purpoises, sea lions, an albatros, and we followed two gray whales for about 45 minutes. One even breached!! I highly recommend this tour.
Be sure to take Dramamine and dress appropriately. Had the weather been different, it would have been very cold even though it is July. |

| You can read the books and see pictures but absolutely nothing will ever compare to actually seeing a whale or other sea animal up close and in their environment! Yes, it was cold outside on the boat but it was more than worth the brief discomfort. Even though you never know what you will see or if you will see anything at all, the thrill of the adventure and the feeling that you're peeking in on an animal acting as they should, is well worth the travel fee. The fee could double and it would still be worth it! I highly recommend this professional excursion. The crew was informative and always volunteering to assist anyone on board, whether sick or inquisitive. The captain was top-notch. Five stars and more... |

| took my girlfriend for her birthday , for a while seemed like we wouldnt see anything
but heading back to shore , we saw a very large sea turtle , many dolphins and a group of killer whales " the reason the larger whales were not around" , overall a great experience ! , dress warm , take the recomended meds , and keep looking the whole time your out , these are unpreditable creatures and can take a while to spot ,
but well worth it when you do ! thanks , great crew , had a really good time . |

| Even though we were only able to see a couple of dolphins, some orcas and a turtle for a brief period of time, I'd say the trip was worth it! The boat ride out there is nice, unless you get seasick of course. There were many people who couldn't stand it, so be sure to take meds beforehand if you are the type to get seasick! It was pretty vicious when we went! |

| My wife and were able to see a pod of Orcas this trip, which was exciting and informative. The marine biologist on board, Katherine, kept us entertained whilst educating us and our fellow passengers about these beautiful animals as well as about the birds, otters and seals that were encountered during this trip. The deck hands were professional, being polite and helpful towards those that had little or no "seafaring" experience, and the captain worked hard to make sure that everyone on board would have an opportunity to observe these animals in their natural habitat.
We would strongly recommend the Princess Monterey Whale Watching Cruise and we certainly will rebook during our next visit to Monterey. Thanks to all at MontereyWW!

| Our crew was great. The bay was a little ruff, but that was explained to us before we departed. The marine biologist was entertaining and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the whales I had wanted to see were not around on this trip. We did see killer whales and that was probably why we didn't see any humpback or blue whales. Still a good experience and would probably go again. |

| All in all it was a nice experience. We did see one whale. It was kinda far away so you could not really see it all that well, and sad to say it never jumped or anything. I guess that is just more luck of the draw than anything else. We followed the whale along at a distance of 100 yards or so for about a half hour or so. We also saw a few dolphins as well. The kids enjoyed it, we had 3 kids 18, 15 and 6 we all took dramamine and had a Ginger lozenges and noone got sick. some on boat did get sick but I am pretty sure they took nothing and we didnt notice until we where getting off the boat and heard the aftermath. Wish we could have been closer or seen more, but it was nice we are glad we went |

| We booked the 2.5 hr morning trip which worked out perfect for us. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, although we couldnt always hear all of the commentary because of the wind. We saw a humpback whale over and over again, but only its back and water spout. We saw a group of dolphins, lots of sea lions and sea birds.
Later on in our holiday we travelled down Route 1 and saw many more seals and dolphins from the road and beach, but I'm still glad we did the boat trip as it gave us a good introduction to the marine life of the Monterey Bay area. |

| Truly enjoyed our time out on the water. Saw one humpback breaching and blow spouting! We even had an opportunity to smell the whale's breath (think day old cooked broccoli)! While the waves were choppy, it was still fun especially when the dolphins showed up! Nice crew, great marine biologist! My 15 year old son even had a good time! |
