We saw blue whales!

Pretty good boat trip, we quickly found a blue whale which was amazing. The marine biologist was knowledgeable if a little over enthusiastic. Take warm clothes, even in the height of summer!!!!

Up close and personal with blue whales!

We were thrilled to see not one, not two, but three very close whale sightings. It was obvious our tour was exceptionally good when even the crew seemed delighted. Our onboard crew were attentive and very professional. I just wish that more passengers had listened to the recommendation to take Dramamine before the trip! So many adults and children were too sick to even see the whales.

The trip out to the feeding site where we were able to see both blue whales and humpback whales was an hour in length and at very fast, bumpy speeds. We were a family with older kids/young adults. My husband and youngest child (15 yrs) both were quite ill from the rocky ride out even though they had taken Dramamine in advance. The rest of the family isn't prone to seasickness but we all felt the effects as well. The sighting was amazing but the enjoyment of the trip was dampened somewhat by the ride out. We specifically selected the 10 am cruise because supposedly the waters are calmer and it would be a smoother ride. The staff were wonderful and I realize it was a unique opportunity they were trying to capture, however, given the large number of passengers hanging over the side of the boat, I'd say a slower ride out would have been much more enjoyable. I would not recommend this type of cruise for very young children.

Rushed, disappointed

The boat was quite small and it traveled very fast. Many people felt sea sick. When we finally reached the place where the whales were feeding, all we saw were small parts of a few blue whales' back. While they were wonderful to see, i wish we had stayed out there longer and saw more active whales. I had done whale watching in Boston where the boat was much bigger and the speed of travel far more reasonable. My child was very disappointed with this trip.

We were told we would see a whale, and we saw four different kinds and saw them all at the surface many times. The water was choppy but the big boat made the trip very enjoyable. We will do this again. Great tour!!

Happy to see 7 humpbacks!

Princess Whale Watching kept the promise that we "would see something". We were happy to watch about 7 humpbacks, most single, one group, blowing their spray and showing their backs and the big flukes when diving. Also the staff was very friendly and explained a lot. Unfortunately we could not watch them swimming around or jumping, but it was great anyhow. What was a bit of a pity that the fog was quite dense. It mostly cleared up when we got out on the sea where the whales were. Altogether was a great experience!

Very enjoyable trip

Even if we had not seen the humpback whales this would still have been a very enjoyable trip. We saw two pods of dolphins as well as a black legged albatross. Seeing the whales capped off the whole trip. Crew was very friendly and knowledgable. Purchasing the tickets online was extremely easy and made the check in super fast.
