Princess Monterey Whale Watching Cruises

We spent 3 hours in high ocean swells (several people sick) and saw NOTHING! There was a definite feeling that the company knew conditions were poor to have any success (the morning excursion had also seen nothing) and we wish they had been forthright and issued refunds. They did give out rainchecks but the chance of using those when you are from out of town are slim to none. It was big disappointment and waste of time.

the boat was very safe and the crew was knowledgeable and informative they did every thing possible tomake sure we saw some whales and did we ever see some blue whales. w've been to spain france and ireland and up and down the east coast tothe grand canyon yosemite etc. but this 21/2 hour trip topped them all.WE would do it again in a heart beat Dewey & Mejji Smith

We had a wonderful time at our whale watching experience. As soon as we got out in deep ocean we started spotting them. Our captain was very informative too, and we saw other things that were interesting. The trip out to deep water was very nice and the boat was very nice. An overall great experience I would recommend to anyone!

We got lucky enough to see orcas on our trip out which was really awesome! The staff was all really helpful and was always walking around asking if we needed anything and the marine biologist who was on the trip was extremely knowlegeable and fun to listen to also. I will definately be going on another whale watching trip with this company!!

we had a great time! we not only saw a ton (literally TONS) of animals: whales, dolphins, jelly fish, birds, otters, sea lions and more but we also learned a ton about marine life and about each specific specie from our wonderful tour guide! she was so excited with us each time we saw a new animal and had a wealth of great information about each one. what a great way to see some of the real beauty of monterey!

It was a very foggy day. We did not see any whales. The group counted a pod of dolphins as "whales", but being from Florida we weren't that excited for dolphins. The crew was hospitable and somewhat apologetic. I suppose weather was just not on our side. However, there was a billboard on the dock of several whale spottings earlier in the week. Hopefully you will be luckier than us!!

Very well run operation. Commentary by marine biologist was excellent, both entertaining and very informative. We got great views of humpback whales. Very exciting. Would go again.

a wonderful experience. not only saw the whales but had the opportunity to watch one breach. Our grandson was totally enthralled and at the age of 16 today it takes something impressive to make them show emotions. Worth the ride, worth the money, worth doing again and we will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our narrator was amazing, we saw humpback whales and dolphins. It was amazing! We loved every minute!
