This was my first time being on the ocean and getting to see these amazing creatures. We was very fortunate to have numerous sightings while we where out so there were many photo opportunites. My husband, brother and sister-in-law, as well as myself got the front of the boat so we could get the most of the experience being it was the first time for the girls, both being native Oklahoma girls. And we did just that, going out on the 10 am cruise the morning of the 26th of April, with Leon and Katherine, it was truly an enjoyable experience I can not wait to do again. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone but especially to the nature lover. |

This was the best whale watching trip ever. We seen grey whales killer whales and even a few dolphins. The only bad part of the trip was the amount of people that got motion sickness and were giving it up all over the place. The smell of the whales also catches you off guard a bit too. Besides that we got really close to the whales the captain was very knowledgeable and the deck hands were really friendly. I would do it again anytime. |

I highly recommend this actitvity. Our captain and crew were extremely educational and friendly. Our captain did his best to get us the best sights and the guides were engaging and fun. We were able to see Humpbacks and Orcas! The sightings brought me to tears! It was beautiful! The boat was clean and comfortable and the price very reasonable. Be aware that the directions given from the website are wrong. They led us to a different part of the wharf so best to call for directions. |

On a wonderful clear day we saw between 25 and 30 whales, as well as seals and birds all going for the fish that were everywhere.
Boat was clean and explanations great.

We picked a beautiful day and had a wonderful time - mostly. If you're prone to sea sickness - get a patch or some meds BEFORE you go! Several folks on our trip spent the bulk of the trip at the back of the boat sick; really, really sick.
The on-board marine biologist says we got very lucky the day we ventured out. The whales and prevailing winds had pushed a "food ball" closer to shore so we didn't have to travel far to find dozens of humpbacks feeding. In all we saw 20-30 whales without spending most of the trip riding out to their normal feeding grounds. A couple of whales surfaced about 40-50 feet off the port bow where I was standing. An incredible experience to see something so big and awe inspiring so close up. If you're going whale watching in Monterey, I'd really recommend The Princess. The boat is very comfortable, and with the sometimes rough water in the deep Monterey Bay - the smaller competitors boats were bobbing like corks. I was really glad I was on the biggest whale watching boat in the bay with the swells we had. |
