| Wow! First time on the ocean in 50 years. Can't wait to go again. We saw at least a dozen Hump Back Whales and myriads if seal and otter. Really exciting. The crew was very friendly and professional. Cudos to all.

| A great adventure where seeing whales was guaranteed generally for our day; and proved to be correct. Great crew, helpful and fun. Guess sightings on the day and sunshine made the trip a highlight of vacation. Would strongly recommend. Good price as well and booking process very effecient. |

| We saw a lot of whales. I made many beautiful pictures. Thank you for this wonderful experience. By the way the crew really did care about the sick people. My friend also didnīt feel pretty well after 1,5 hours. Prepare yourself, so that you can completely enjoy this beautiful whale-watch-tour ! |

| This cruise delivered what is offered. The trip was pleasant with an informational and friendly naturalist. The captain of the ship did an excellent job getting us close to the whales yet not too close to disturb them. Everyone in our family enjoyed it. |

| We had a nice cruise and the staff was very nice. I was disappointed that we did not take the Princess Monterey, as that was the boat that I booked. It was difficult to take photos, though, as the boat was so full. |

| First, this is the only whale watching trip I've been on, so I have no idea how other companies stack up.
Our trip took us out 1.5 hours before we saw any whales, although we did see some dolphins on the way. I was very excited to see killer whales, but everyone was pushing and shoving to get to the side of the boat that I could barely see them. I was very disappointed, especially since the captain said he would turn the boat when we ran into whales so that everyone could get a look...and he didn't. The most exciting part of seeing (or not) the killer whales was watching the two groups of sea lions the whales were circling. They were completely panicked...it was like watching Wild Kingdom. Unfortunately, no sea lions were eaten...yes, I would have liked to have seen nature in action. We then saw two humpbacks, but we didn't get very close. Still cool though...we were on the correct side of the boat for once. So altogether, our trip was fairly disappointing but still a fun experience.
But...when we started heading back, everyone assumed the thrills were over and went to sit down. We decided to brave the freezing cold at the bow of the boat, and were soon nicely rewarded. A pod of Pacific White-Sided Dolphins headed straight for us, and then one broke off from the group and swam right up to the boat and started riding the water at the bow. He/she was turning and swimming back and forth between the left and right sides of the bow. I swear he/she was saying hi to us. We were leaning over the boat all excited...the dolphin seemed almost close enough to touch.
And that made the whole trip worth it.
P.S. It was freezing out there. They're not kidding when they say to dress warmly. I recommend long sleeves, a sweatshirt, a jacket, a hat, a scarf, and gloves. |
