| This cruise was great. The host was informative and funny. She was approachable and knowledgeable. We saw many whales even in the fog of the day. They really know the animals of the bay. |

| I highly recommend this. We saw over 20 whales, several of them 15-20 feet from the boat. We loved this!!!!! |

| The staff is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The boat is larger than many others and is therefore quite a bit more comfortable. |

| My fiance and I decided to go on a whale-watching tour with Monterey Princess Whale Watching for my birthday. I have to say that it was probably one of my most memorable birthdays ever.
The Monterey Bay region was experiencing the tail end of a ridge of high pressure, thus there was bright blue skies and absolutely no wind on shore. Both of these factors allowed for optimal viewing: no wind = no whitecaps, which are often mistaken for animal movement.
We saw at least 20 humpback whales not more than 1-2 miles off shore. Several came up for air, a few slapped their flukes on the water, and one even breeched (jumped all the way out and slammed back into the water). Our guide was knowledgable about marine mammal behavior and pointed out whales, harbor seals, sea lions, jellyfish, and marine birds.
We had so much fun that we want to whale-watch when the other whales come through the region, like in January and April. |

| More whales than I ever could have imagined! The naturalist did a great job of explaining what was going on and giving additional information about Monterey Bay. Highly recommend going while the humpbacks are still in Monterey! |

| Really nicely done whale watching tour, with the luck of perfect weather and very calm seas. There are currently 30+ Humpbacks in the bay, and I swear we saw them all, including some breaches and other acrobatics. I figured we'd see some whales, but had no idea that most of the 2 hours out on the water would be wall to wall whales. By the end of the cruise, my 7 year old was bored of seeing whales, and wanted to see something else! |
