Marine specialist was knowledgeable and entertaining. Saw 8 or 9 humpback whales along with many California sea lines and ocean birds. WeI've been whale watching on the east coast and did not see the whales and other wildlife as we did on this one. Highly recommend it.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the whale watching tour. We saw over a dozen whales and the guide was fantastic!!!! She knew so much about the whales and other sea life. The 3 hours went by so fast. I would definitely recommend this tour and would go again.

Half of the boat was sick during the first 15 minutes of the trip. We saw 2 to 3 whales multiple times. This trip was a disaster and I wish I could have avoided this and saved my money. I would not recommend Princess Monterey trip to anyone.

Great Day on the Bay

No stress, pick a seat and relax. Weather was great which really made this a good day. Boat was very clean, choice of being inside or out. A boat hand went around checking on people and keeping people safe. This was particularly nice because we had four young children in our party, ages 7-11. Be sure to take your sea sick pills before getting on the boat. Shortly after we were underway I gave out several pills to the needy even though I knew it was too late for them. Don't take chances, it won't hurt to take sea sick pills even though you may not need them, its awful to find out you should have. You Rock'Roll even on a clear nice day!

An event that both my husband and i will never forget, we saw three packs of whales within a large colony of seals, very surprised by their sounds and to have two coming so close to the boat made not only the day but our whole trip. The crew were extremely knowledgeable as well as being very aware of the conservational aspect of the whole trip.well done princess monterey ! We will be back .note for future whale watchers, pay the extra for going on top of the boat.the e mail to the whales for turning up worked! Abig thank you to all concerned couple from cardiff South Wales uk.

I would recommend this to everyone who is in the Monterrey area. It was a great trip--well worth the cost of the ticket. The moderator was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Fantastic Experience Watching Whales

We saw a ton of humpbacks lunge feeding and breeching. It was absolutely amazing. Also lots of silly sea otters and sea lions and tons of jellyfish. The crew was careful (unlike other boats we saw) to not get so close to these wonderful creatures that it would harm or disrupt their activity. Several actually approached the boat and we were able to see do many whales it was incredible! I would never have ridden on some of the other boats after watching their reckless behavior with the whales. This crew was phenomenal!

Fantastic trip

We were treated to a once in a lifetime trip. The weather was great, no clouds, calm seas and whales were exploding all around us. There were about 15 to 20 whales feeding and it was a continuous siting of whales for an hour and a half before heading back to port.
