Princess Monterey Whale Watching Cruises

A group of us were at an offsite for work and this was one of our activities. I am a local here and have never been whale watching and had no expectations of what I would see. The international folks that came with me really thought that we weren't going to see any whales. We couldn't believe it when we came across the blue whales. Although, we really didn't get to get too close to them, nor did they get too close to us. We were able to see how large they were - swimming in and out of the water, turning around. We also saw a humpback whale - splashing his tail on the water in the distance. The Princess Liner went towards the humpback whale. We stopped once we were at a good distance from the whale. We couldn't believe it when the whale came over and took a closer look at us. The humpback whale came right up to the boat. It was incredible. It kept swimming right around the boat. It looked like it was enjoying all the attention it was getting as it kept watching us. Some people were splashed. It was so close.. you can smell it's breath.. which was pretty nasty. My group said that this was the most memorable trip that will last a lifetime. I would definitely recommend it.

We were fortunate to see several blue and humpback whales on our trip. The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable as was the staff on shore. All in all, a fantastic trip!

Got lucky, best whale watching in years according to the captain, saw 3 blue whales and humpbacks as well, watched the whales completely jump out of the water! totally worth the trip! cant guarantee youll see the same thing but it was a great day for me and my date, I would recommend it for something mellow to do.

I have been on several whale watching trips, and have never seen so many whales. Very enjoyable trip Already planning to go again.

Calm day for Monterey Bay. Nice sunshine too. At first we played tag with a mother humpback whale and calf. Then it was off to follow a blue whale for awhile. Then the captain spotted a group of blues and we went where we were surrounded by them. If only I could jump in the water with snorkel gear! Been going to Monterey on a regular basis for years - this is the first time we went out on a trip cause we "heard" the blues were in the bay. Wow - what an experience. Thank you!

I went whale watching with your company on Monday July 12. IT WAS WONDERFUL because the whales came right UP TO THE BOAT. There were numerous groups of whales and they kept coming back. Your organization is fantastic. thank you

I have been on Whale Watch boats before, but this was special because of the unusual number of Blue Whales this month. There is also one whale who "likes" boats and attention which came right up to the boat--if it was allowed we could have petted the whale! Also, this company gave out "free appetizer" coupons for several of the local restaurants.

We must have chosen the best day of the year! We saw at least 10 blue whales along with a few other types. The crew was great also.

We saw numerous whales. Blues and humpbacks. Two humpbacks breached almost in front of us. Plenty of room on the boat so that everyone could see. Whale watching is different than a trip to the zoo. You can never see the "whole" animal. You see a tail fluke here, a dorsal fin there, blow spouts everywhere. Just being able to say you have "seen" a blue whale is awesome. An incredible adventure.

The trip was fantastic since we were able to see both humpback and gray whales up close and personal. Millie (one of the humpbacks) kept coming up to the boat and when there were other boats nearby she visited them all repeatedly. The crew was very professional and the woman (Christine, I think) was very knowledgable and kept us apprised of all the whale sightings. She was very enthusiastic and you could tell she loved the whales and what she was doing. The online ticketing was fast and efficient. I had looked at another tour but they couldn't get the etickets sent for 72 hours. I had decided to go at the last minute so Zerve worked just perfectly as I was able to print the ticket when I booked online just hours before the tour. Thank you for a great day!

What a great day on the Bay. I have already sent the link to half a dozen coworkers and several friends. Great for both kids and adults.
