We had terrific time.
few areas of improvements:
1. second floor would have given better view
2. the cabin was very unfresh. Would have helped people feeling sick outside to have come in
3. when we were stationery in the ocean, the fumes were making people more sick. would have been great if there was way to push the fumes further away
4. many people were feeling sick. would have been better if the barf bags and tissues were in the back of of the boat with somekind of garbage dispenser. it did not look good that people were holding their barf bags in hand to find the dump spot.
5. handy seasickness medication would have been good.
6. Parking car was not fun. you should give clear directions on where to park. |

We had a Cinderella wedding, and when we found the 'Princess', we just had to go out on it. The experience was breathtaking. The tour guide was fabulous and quite energetic. She was VERY imformative and cued us when a 'tail' was about to appear for the pictures. We will definitely do this again. |

Everybody involved is curteous, friendly, helpful and professional.. The Princess Monterey is a fine vessel -- it's always clean and well cared for. I have gone whale watching on this boat numerous time. On this last trip, I was really impressed with a couple of the crew who were very kind and caring with a woman and small boy and an older woman, all of whom were seasick. |

The trip was just amazing, within just a short time period the crew where able to locate whales, killer whales and dolphins. It was very exciting and memoriable.
Make sure to bring your cameras, batteries, film, and a jacket.
The only thing that I didn't expect was that I made reservation to ride on the princess and upon arrival noticed that the explore was on the dock instead, but it didn't really matter it was still a very enjoyable experience. |

My husband and I brought our Uncle from England on this cruise. We all had a wonderful time. We saw humpback whales and also killer Orka whales. The captain and marine biologist were so helpful explaining the behavior of the whales. The deck hand made sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything he was real helpful. I would highly recommend The Princess Monterey Whale Watching Cruise. |

- the tour was excellent. The boat was very comfortable and had ample seating available (although there were about 20 or 30 people on the tour at the time).
- we were very fortunate the day we went out as there was a whale sighted near the aquarium so we did not have to go far to find it, and we got to follow it for an hour.
- the naturalist on the tour was quite knowledgeable about the biology of the Monterey Bay area as well as about the biology of whales. His presentation style was also excellent, and at one point in the tour, he shared some photos of whales that he had to further the educational experience |

- the staff made sure that everyone was comfortable
- the biologist who accompanied the tour was quite knowledgeable
- despite a day where we did not see much due to weather, the staff made sure to share as much knowledge about the wildlife that is found in the area, which made it worthwhile |

I really enjoyed the cruise. Our Marine biologist was very informative about the various animals and birds we saw. We saw a couple of Humpbacks, and she had lots of info about them, their migrating and feeding habits, and why they were in the area this time of year. The boat was clean, and well maintained. I felt safe on a boat that large. |

Although we did not see as many whales as we would have liked too, we did see
some humpbacked whales, dolphins, seals, sealions & a variety of birds. We had
a 5, 6, & 9 year old kids with us, they had the run of the ship & had a great time. |

Really enjoyed whale watching and the education I received from the Naturalist. We saw Grey whales and humpback whales. The humpbacks are beautiful as they come up to slap the water to get the Krill. Even though I got sea sick...I would do this again. |

I was disappointed that after 3 hours of searching for whales we finally located two humpbacks breaching. We went closer but as the whales had dived we were told there was no time left to wait for them to resurface and we left the area. Whilst appreciating the Captain has a schedule the fact is the many people on board who paid good money to go on the trip deserved better. I was left feeling the company cared more about the revenue they were getting then providing a once in a lifetime experience for their customers. Another company I went whalewatching with based in Santa Barbara was a thrilling and rewarding trip and I would recommend people to try there instead. |

Princess Monterey was an excellent trip with a knowledgeable captain and friendly crew. We saw a couple of whales off Cypress Point and had a great ride aboard the 100' ship. Unfortunately several passengers got seasick so I would recommend taking something for motion sickness BEFORE you sail. I will definitely invite more out-of-town visitors to see whales almost any time of year... |
