good trip. saw several whales less than 20 min from dock. got to smell whale breath when they were spouting up-wind. was very very rough this trip and several passengers spent the trip heaving over the side. i recommend checking weather report before signing up.

Katherine, our marine biologist was very enthusiastic as well as informed. She made us feel welcome, and she provided information about not only the whales, but also other marine life in the area. She also informed us about some ecology along the way. The assistant was hard working, friendly and he could walk those decks without holding onto the rails in spite of the way the boat was rocking and rolling. Amazing. I wish the tour would have been a little longer. We were out for only about 2 hours total. Perhaps the rough water caused the early return.

all was excellent. polite, competent timely, etc. the host was a card. only suggestion. put speakers inside too. that way when the weather is bad we can stay inside some of the time but still hear the info.

I went with my 5 grandsons, ages 8-14 and we all enjoyed it very much. We saw lots of whales and seals and birds. The crew was very helpfull and knowledgeable.I would love to go again.

They did about as well as you can with 50+ people on board. The biologist was very good and enthusiastic. Boat was comfortable. I'm glad I went.

Trip was everything I expected and more. Loved the on board narrator.

of all the times i've been whale watching this was the best. the tour guide was excellent, the crew great and this time the whales were out in force. every thing was perfect. and yes i am recommending it to my coworkers and friends

We did get a chance to see whales, sea lions, otters and sea birds up close, and the naturalist was very familiar with their habits, especially relating to the need to preserve the oceans. The captain was anxious for us to get good views of whales and did his best to make that happen. However, of the 4 hours, we spent well over 2 hours just cruising the bay, looking for wildlife, whihc got to be too long.

We'd been on a whale watching trip before and enjoyed it, so decided to go again. This time we got to experience the smell of the whale's breath. Stinky! Also, our naturalist was so enthusiastic it seemed like it was the first time she had ever smelled it. If you want a fun way to spend a morning this is it.

the trip was great--saw many humpbacks; even smelled their breath.................the girl who narrated during the trip was lots of fun, and very versed on the subject of whales. We would certainly advise anyone going to wear something WARM

tHE TRIP WENT AS DISCRIBED . WE DID SEE WHALES BUT BRIEFLY. tHE WEATHER WAS COLD. BOAT PERSONEL WERE INFORMED AND COURTIOUS. I AM GLAD THAT WE DID GO. ps. I got sick, but still glad I went.

Personnel are friendly and helpful. Morning trips tend to be calmer. Captain is excellent. The boat is clean and of sufficient size to ride out any turbulence.

This trip was great! I wasn't expecting to see so many whales. I also didn't think we would get a close look or catch very active whales. We got so close to them that we could smell their stinky breath! We had a great time and am recommending it to anyone interested. We also saw a ton of jelly fish and 2 dolphin-like fish. I don't know if everyone gets this lucky when they go, but just make sure you go during the right season and recommended time of day. Bring sunblock and a windbreaker! (and ginger if you're scared of getting seasick).

Way fun! I was afraid that 3 hours would be too long with 3 children, but it wasn't. We saw lots of whales and sea lions and even were told porpoises (though I never actually saw them). My husband and my oldest daughter did get a little seasick, but even they look back on it positively.

You have to experience this at least once in your life time. My only reccomendation is to dress warmer. I had a jacket and jeans, and I was still cold, so I spent the last half of the trip in the heated cabin and not on deck, missing a few of the whales...
