| I purchased my tickets a couple of days in advance for the 4:30pm trip. Apparently this trip gets cancelled frequently because of "weather" or beacuse less people book it. I showed up (it was a 2 hour drive) and it wasn't cancelled. I never got a call nor was I warned when I booked it or I probably would have booked a different time. I would have appreciated some friendliness or consideration in this matter. They didn't seem to care. | ||||||

| Our group was lead by a wonderful woman who was very informative and very enthusiastic and fun. We had a wonderful time and saw three whales. It was cold and you do need to head the advice to wear layers. It was in the seventies inland and when we got on the water it was much colder. I would definately say to anyone to go, it's worth the trip. | ||||||

| The staff at princess whale watching were phenomenal. Engaging and entertaining, but more than that they were responsive to the needs of my family and the other families on the boat without being asked!(I took a three and a five year old on the boat and one staff member offered to sit with my little boy in the worm cabin, while I took my five year old out on deck.!! I was amazed by their genuine concern and warmth. | ||||||

| It was great we loved every minute of the cruise from the enthusiastic hostess to seeing the hump back whale and her baby We want to bring our whole family back so they can enjoy it as well. Thank-you for the great experience. | ||||||

| The whale trip was quite an adventure. We were able to catch a glimpse of dolphins, humpback whales, and even moolah moolah. However we weren't able to get as close as we would like to observe the fishes, unlike other smaller boat. I guess that's one of the disadvantage of riding a large cruise. We advise to take some seasick medicine if you are easily nausea because the boat was rocking pretty hard. Overall, the experience was great and we definitely recommend our friends to explore this trip. | ||||||

| The weather couldn't have been better! The trip out to sea was wonderful! We saw quite a few dolphins, which was pretty neat. Not too long after that we spotted a humback and it's baby. We stayed with them for quite a while. I wish we could have gotten a little closer though. I was jealous, from where we were it looked like there was a boat much closer than we were. It was still an experience getting to see the whales at all. From there we went out a little more and saw a milo milo fish?... That was cool. Then we headed back to land. Overall, the trip was a success. We got to see the whales. Of course, you always wish to see more or to get a little closer, but overall it was a great trip. The boat was very clean, not crowded and the marine biologist on the boat was wonderful! She was full on energy! | ||||||

| We purchased our tickets online and check-in went incredibly smoothly. Waited about ten minutes for everyone to get assembled and then we got a safety brief and facts about the Captain and Marine Biologist. Both were VERY qualified. The boat is much larger than the other competing whale watching boats, so the resistance to steep waves was a little better. After about a 45min cruise to get to a "hot spot", we saw a mother and baby humpback whale, dolphins, and sea lions. You can only get about 100yds away from the whales, but that was good enough to see the baby jump up in the air and smack down on his back a couple times. After about an hour, the waves were getting VERY rough (it's Monterey Bay after all!!!!). The Captain decided to take us all back home because several people got sick. I felt woosy, but never had to "heave-ho". My wife loved seeing the whales, and just the ride out was pretty relaxing (aside from the waves). I wouldn't recommend this for little kids though, it's hard for them to see off the bow, and a lot of the time you are staring at empty ocean, just waiting for the whales to pop up. Kids' attention spans' seem to wane, and they get frustrated. Total cruise time was about 2.5 hours. Would definitely do this again!! | ||||||

| My family and I took a cruise to see whales in the middle of August. We all talked about seeing whales on our trip to Monterey, we just kept saying “I hope we see whales, I hope we see whales”. To our surprise, we saw a female humpback and her calf, and we saw dolphins. On our cruise, the waters were a little choppy, so the captain had to take us in early. All and all it was better than we were expecting, and we will all do it again. | ||||||

| Our entire experience on the "Princess of Whales", run by the Monterey Whale Watching team, was fun and informative. The dolphins especially gave a good showing! | ||||||

| We saw what we paid for, which is dolphins, porpoises, and a few glimpses of whales. It was very good, I only wish the whales could have been viewed at a closer distance. Also, beware if you don't have a strong stomach, you should definitely take seasickness pills. | ||||||

| We were fortunate to have a very active sighting and were able to see two humpback whales, a mother and her calf. The were very active and treated us to numerous jumps and tail slaps. Great time had by all. | ||||||

| We decided to take a couple days off together before a new school year started. We decided to go to the coast and Monterey was the idea. But what to do to make the day special? Whale watching! We bought our tickets online and left. We had a wonderful day, we saw a mom and two calfs. What an experience, one that we will always remember. If you are on the edge don't know if you want to spend the money, Do IT!!!!!!! You will enjoy!!!!!!!!! | ||||||

| We had a wonderful time and didn't get seasick because we used the wristbands that work on accupressure points. Saw some whales, sea otters and different birds. Will definitely go again. | ||||||

| In booklet it says that a trip would take 2.5 -3 h. It took slightly less than 2.5 h and I was disappointed that after finding a whale we have spend only around 15 - 20 min (from which actually you see a whale on the surface for around 3-4 min) watching it. The guide said that we are going to look for other whales, but we went straight to the harbor. If we would have spend 30 - 45 min with whale I would be much happier | ||||||
