This was an awesome trip. We saw 2 kinds of dolphins, sealions, birds, and the absolute best was 2 humpback whales 15 feet from the boat. Together with the overenthusiastic guide, this trip was the best.

The tour operator provided an informative narative throughout the key points of the trip, describing the behaviour of the whales and dolphins that we met in detail. Their knowledge of the subject was clearly excellent and they were helpful and responsive to questions. The boat trip itself was efficient despite rough weather and the staff made every effort to keep all passengers comfortable.

Enjoyed the dolphins - amazing! Didn't see much of the whales but you could hardly expect them to just come when called. The sea was a bit bumpy so be warned if you suffer from motion sickness. Overall a really good trip.

Fantastic if you love animals

If you enjoy visiting an acuarium, this is much more exciting because you can observe animals in their natural habitat. We saw some sea lions, lots of ducks and also four or five wales. It was really exciting and we took a lot of pictures.

Too Long, Too Sick, And Very Little Wildlife

This was nearly a 3hr trip where we spent over an hour travelling to the viewing spot. The weather was clear & dry and the water had a little swell but by the time we were looking for whales a number of people felt sick. We saw 3 killer whale fins a couple of times and a few dolphin fins once or twice while the boat bobbed around for 30 mins making people feel sicker. On the way back the boat was pretty silent as most people felt sick and a good number of them spent the return vomitting off the back. After countless boat trips this is the first I've felt seasick on, and clearly I wasn't alone - all my party felt the same and the looks and sounds from the other travellers seemed to agree.

We have seen greywhales and Risso´s dolphines pretty near. The boat came near and was standing there as long as the whales where there. Good! And the weather was excellent! But remember to tell the customers to bring gloves and caps on the trip.

Professional & knowledgeable crew

We went out on the Princess Monterey & were very impressed by the knowledge of the captain & crew. Their previous experience means they've got a very good idea of the best locations to look for whales. Their boats keep in contact, so if there's a sighting by one the other knows where to go. It was fairly rough when we went and the crew were very helpful with anyone who felt sick. We also felt complete confidence in the crew where safety was concerned. ...and best of all we saw 2 humpback whales together & it was absolutely fantastic.

We didnt see any whales but it was great to get out on the bay and we did end up seeing a huge pod of dolphins (3 types) and they stayed with the boat for about half an hour! We really enjoyed the trip and would reccommend it to others and hope you see some whales too!

Profonda delusione
Sat, Oct 24, 09   10:00 AM Porra_Rita Female 40-49 International Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
Profonda delusione. Sarà per la prossima occasione.
