Doug Lumsden, the founder and president of Monterey Movie Tours, has been celebrating the beauty and fame of the Monterey area for nearly a decade. Being in the heart of moviedom inspired Doug to create this unique way to sightsee the beautiful Monterey Peninsula and learn about its movie-making magic.
As a Monterey Peninsula native and as one of the directors of the Monterey County Film Commsssion, Doug has a built-in enthusiam and a keen sense of passion for the many movies filmed in the area.
"Moviegoers love to know more about their favorite films and the actors who starred in them," says Lumsden. "To see or stand at a location where a favorite movie was shot or a famous actor or actress strolled is a huge thrill for movie fans, and we look forward to sharing these experiences with our tour guests."
