| We are both movie buffs and have lived in the area for 10 years, so when this tour just recently crossed our radar, we jumped on it. A friendly hello and beautiful, first-class coach greeted us the Portola Hotel and soon we were tooling down Pacific to the melodic sounds of Ethel Merman while viewing title clips from some of the many movies shot in our area. Prior to the tour, my base of information were some posters at the Whaling Shed in Pt. Lobos or a few varied and incomplete lists gleaned from Google.
Doug runs his tour like a treasure hunt and the hidden gems, be they film locations or local folklore keep appearing. Places we've driven by 100 times have suddenly taken on a new meaning and interest. We have ordered many of the movies mentioned to view or rewatch in their entirety.
Yet what is most touching, being locals, is to watch and note the reaction of folks who have come to visit (most from SoCal on our tour, escaping the fires). They are treated to some of the best there is to see and experience on the Monterey peninsula and clearly leave the tour with a better understanding of what makes our home so special. In their words: it's an "E" ticket |

| Great to see all the movies filmed here as well as scenic highlights at the same time. I loved the stops at the lone cypress tree and Pebble Beach. Definitely worth the money and time spent. Our guide had perfect timing with the stops and movie scenes. I took down the list of movies mentioned and plan on watching them. Perhaps provide a list of the movies next time for the tour?? |

| The Monterey Movie Tour is a fun and relaxing way to see and learn about the area. Although I've visted Monterey a few times, I didn't know much about Pebble Beach or the 17-mile-drive, and hadn't driven through either since it's hard to see the sights and drive at the same time! This tour gave me a chance to learn about the area from a great local guide, see everything without having to watch the road, and relate to it through some movies that I've seen and some that I now want to see. |

| I would suggest everyone to sign up for this tour and to do it first in your trip. The tour guide was Awesome and very enthusiastic. He had a lot of knowledge about movies and the area. I wish I would of done this tour first because the tour guide gave us a lot of information about the area and which areas to visit. Make sure to sit on the right side of the bus because that side is oceanview. This tour is worth every penny and wish other cities had similar tours. |

| We really enjoyed the tour of movie sites in Monterey and vicinity and the 17-mile drive around the peninsula. Our driver/tour guide, Doug, was very knowledgeable and interesting. We would certainly recommend this tour to friends.

| This is a must-see when you visit the Monterey Peninsula. Not only do you view some breathtaking scenery, but you learn a lot about the area that you would never find out on your own. Doug Lumsden, owner and operator, provides a wealth of information in his usual friendly, disarming way. Highlight: enjoy the view from the 18th green at Pebble Beach, up close and personal. Later, when you watch Tiger Woods walk the green on TV, you can say you were there.
Doug, keep doing what you're doing. By the way, do you need any relief tour drivers? |

| I had heard many wonderful comments about Monterey Movie Tours, and so when a family member came from out of state for a visit, I decided to book the two of us. We had an absolutely terrific time! The driver (who was also the owner) was very friendly and knowledgeable. He even took our picture! I didn't realize just how many movies were actually filmed on the Monterey Peninsula. My mother-in-law loved watching the movie clips and seeing all the various sights, especially the Lodge at Pebble Beach. The seats on the bus were very comfortable as well. I not only learned quite a bit of movie trivia, I learned some wonderful history of the area. I would definitely recommend Monterey Movie Tours! |

| I enjoyed this tour as much as my friends from out of town did. The movie trivia was interesting and arriving at the sites was well-planned... and the weather was picture-perfect that day! |

| My husband and I live in Monterey and had been on the tour before. This time we took my inlaws, 4 in total. They loved it. A great way to see the sights of the Monterey Peninsula and to learn some interesting movie history. Doug and his tour bus are great! Would highly recommend this tour to locals and visitors alike! |
