The ladies who rode on this tour, very much enjoyed it. They were from South Africa, Greece and Australia. They mentioned that they found the movie clips helpful in seeing the location where it was filmed.
They would recommend this to others. |

My wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable time on this tour. The owner/tour guide was so very knowledgeable and his wit and humor added tremendously to the tour. We both loved the way he blended the movie clips with the actual scene we were observing out the windows of the bus. We would have driven by these localities without ever once suspecting what had been filmed there. But now we understand how much alive that whole area is in terms of being one big movie set. Since our son, Johnny Messner, is an actor we are a little knowledgeable of how films are made, but this tour really helped us learn so much more.
We would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Monterrey. It was truly the highlight of our week on the peninsula. Thanks so much.

Our group all had a great time. The driver was lots of fun and so knowledgeable on all the movies. The weather was great so the bus ride and scenery were the best. I highly recommend the tour to everyone. Need to publicize it more as a lot of people have never heard of it. Great way to spend an afternoon. |

It was enjoyable to see and hear much of the Monterey Peninsula history from someone who seemed to know it well. The Movie Tour portion was fine, with my only complaint being that it should include more movies and not rely so much on "A Summer Place" and on Clint Eastwood. It sometimes seemed as if Eastwood was a sponsor, inasmuch as he got so much promotion. Also, I was under the impression there had been at least 200 movies shot around the Peninsula but we heard about and saw only a few. Less of sites from "A Summer Place" and more varied movies would have added substantially to the tour. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our Scenic Tour of Monterey. The scenery was spectacular, the stories were interesting and informative, and we were lucky enough to have a fantastic driver (the owner of this great tour).
We didn't realize that many of the places that we were passing daily were locations used in films! We were actually staying within walking distance of several of them and went back to check them out again.
Thanks for a great three hours.

Pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed the tour. Neither of us are rabid fans of modern movies (sex is not a spectator sport) but the clips of flicks from an earlier era brought back happy memories. |

very much enjoyed |

the Carmel portion was very disappointing - after seeing the scenes we hoped to see the beautiful beach area - i know you are prohibited from taking the bus outside thelimits but it seemed like a poor finale to a great tour. Maybe you should take people to Carmel first - and save the better part of the tour for the last. Also we were not told that we could not go anyplace in carmel - so after seeing the scenes we all expected to drive down to the beach - to go on Junipero out of town as fast as possible was a real disappointment - and we live here!! Imagine what the out of towners felt. Anyway, thanks for an enjoyable 3 hours |

Most references were for rather old movies so I don't know if many people under 30 or 40 will have ever seen the movies they spotlight. I'm older and a real movie fan so it was a terrific experience in one of the most beautiful places in the world. |
