The trip was informative and anyone who enjoys movies will enjoy the opportunity to view sites where movies were filmed as well as enjoying this beautiful area.

This is a repeat trip for us as we'd had such a great time on our first trip about 4 years ago. I'd really like to bring more friends from Northern CA, the only downside is that we all have to stay in the Monterey area for 2 nights and the cost of lodging is pretty steep.

I've been living in the Bay Area all my life and have grown "weary" of going to the Monterey Peninsula and doing the same thing with visitors from out of state. What a great surprise to find the Movie Tour online and try something different. What a great trip to see not only the local scenery but the movie locations as well. Our tour host was more then knowledgeable and providing lots of interesting facts. I've got plans to go back and I highly recommend this trip to anyone....who has "been there, done that" in Monterey. You won't be disappointed.

The tour guide (ours was the owner) was very knowledgeable and full of lots of good tidbits of information. The tour we were on included the 17 mile drive which was great. It was very nice to have someone to provide information as we drove along. If we would have driven ourselves, we wouldn't have had the benefit of an experienced guide. I would definitely recommend this tour. It was well worth the money.

| Monterey Movie Tours is the most professional tour of it's kind I have ever come across! It is a mixture of scenic beauty, movie scenes and the history of the Monterey peninsula all rolled into one. Our group was fortunate enough to have Doug, the owner, showcase this technologically advanced tour using his "radio quality" voice and his "native son" stories to add a personal touch to the overall experience. The stops the bus makes along the way made for several "KODAK" moments!
This is a tour for all ages and an experience that will be long remembered!
Thanks Doug, it was worth every penny and I can't wait to come back again!

I enjoyed my 17 mile drive tour however was a little disappointed. That may partly be due to the fact that the others on the tour were a little less than spontaneous, not even wanting to get off the bus at some of the stops. I would have enjoyed a bit more exploring and interaction however that was not due to the tour or the driver but a result of the others on the bus, which they could not control. The scenery was great. Many of the movies that were pointed out were older movies and/or less than popular movies so overall I'd say that was the least exciting part of the tour. The scenery was great but the movie connection not so much.

The driver/owner may have done this a thousand times, but he made this presentation seem fresh and vital. He sounded excited about what he was doing and he was proud of his area. We learned much more than about movies made in the Monterey area. We also learned so many insights that I never knew about the land, the places, and the people. I have been down to Monterey many times. This tour made my visit (and future visits) all the more enjoyable. Go! A great value.

Doug (the tour owner and our operator) has put together a terrific 3 hour tour about movies filmed in the Monterey area. These include some new releases and some old, obscure films as well as movie classics. He has coordinated the tour and the DVD presentation to coincide so well that the actors/actresses being featured actually seem to be a part of the presentation. My husband and I keep talking about this tour days after it ended. I recommend it to anyone that enjoys movies and would like to see the beautiful sights of Monterey at the same time.
