Scenic Movie Tour of Monterey

love the "radio voice" of our tour host. really loved the fact that we actually stopped at Pebble Beach Golf Club. great opportunity for souveniers and making that "maybe someday I'll play here" wish.

Very entertaining. Not only a view of movie scenes with descriptions but driver (and owner of company) also provided a lot of other trivia that made the trip enjoyable. Well worth the time and money.

I was surprised at how entertaining a "tour" can be. Local guide was very informative & experienced in area & movie industry. He set up each scene so you felt like an insider! Great time.

We enjoyed every aspect of the tour! We learned about the area, the movies, Pebble Beach, local history, and great stops to visit, where to shop and eat! Our compliments to the tour guide and owner Doug, for all his comments and his welcoming personaltiy that added much to the tour!

The tour was excellent. For my age group i new just about every movie Doug (?) spoke of. The tour was complete, informative and inspiring. it brought back many memories of my younger years when we watched those movies on an analog television in black and white. The movie tour would have been better if the weather was more cooperative. Nevertheless Doug gave us 110% to make up for what we could not view due to the low lying fog. Pebble Beach and Carmel was outstanding and Doug (?) was gracious enough to take pictures of us. Doug's story of how he met Bill (Bill Murray) was very funny. The service throughout was exceptional. Doug (?) was scheduled to have at least 20 plus riders but due to a break down of a shuttle bus 15 (?) people did not attend. Thus he ended up with 3 couples from East Coast, Spain and Hawaii. Though we numbered only 6 we were given first class treatment. Doug accommodated a couple who wanted to get off in Carmel, otherwise they would had to pay an enormous taxi fare back to Carmel from the plaza area. i thought that was very good of him. My tip to him was more than a gift of aloha but enough to buy him 3 cups of Starbucks coffee i think! I highly recommend the tour. Doug (?) should do something in SF. I can already visualize Clint (Eastwood), Steve (Mcqueen), Burt (Lancaster), Frank (Sinatra) and many more. Doug's familiarity with the actors on a first name basis is awesome (ha, ha)! Monterey Bay is a great place to visit and i would do this tour first to find out where everything is located. He covers just about everythng there is to see in Monterey. This movie tour is a must do thingy! Doug, thank you for the memories! Oh yes, you are a great tour bus driver, especially in those tight areas! Aloha! Malama pono! A hui hou!

We would HIGHLY recommend this for anyone who loves the movies! The tour guide was SO well informed and a delight to listen to; the bus was immaculate and comfortable; the movie screens and audio equipment was very good -- and the SCENERY was breathtaking!!!! What a fabulous way to spend an afternoon! Run - don't walk - to this fun event!

I live in the area and took my guests from out of town on the tour. I thoroughly enjoyed it, I was laughing and singing along with the movie clips- It felt like I went back in time to a happy place. The guide was so witty and knowledgeable - I learned so much about the area and films that were made here as well as some of the local scoop about celebrities that have visited or live here.Plus I didn't have to drive, so i could really take in the incredible vistas of each area we visited! I even took notes so I could tell others later ! I will recommend this tour to all of our visitors.

My husband and I loved the tour. Bus was very comfortable, we loved everything about the tour. It was so much fun to watch part of a film and then to see the homes in real life. I would recommend to everyone who loves movies.

My husband, sister and I went on the movie bus tour with Doug as the tour guide. We had so much fun watching the scenes on the screen and actually seeing where it was filmed. Doug was outstanding in all the information he gave us and just in his pleasant personality. The three of us would highly recommend the tour to our friends and have already done so since returning home from our vacation.
