Scenic Movie Tour of Monterey

Really enjoyed the movie aspects of the tour, though not the non-movie tourist type information. The long stop (40 minutes) at Pebble Beach Resort was too long, for my tastes, but my companions enjoyed it. I would have liked even more movie site visits instead, and even more movie information, but what I saw was great. The tour guide (Doug) was very sweet and friendly, and kind to my elderly friends.

Ten ladies from our Red Hat Society Chapter traveled from Half Moon Bay to Monterey for the Scenic Movie Tour of Monterey. We learned some fascinating facts about the Monterey area and the movies that were filmed there. We had a wonderful time and recommend this tour to others for a great day of Fun and Friendship!

We all loved this tour.A very clever way to see the area .The men liked the 40 minutes at Pebble Beach and I especially loved all the stops related to " A Summer Place".Each of us could relate to movies that were filmed there. Doug ,the tour guide was full of information, and made the tour fun.If we're ever in the area again, we'd all take it a second time, that's how enjoyable it was!!!!!!

This was the second time I took this tour. It is the best way to see the beautiful Monterey Peninsula. The bus has state of the art audio and visual capabilities, is immaculate and comfortable to ride in. Doug, the owner and tour guide, does a fantastic job and is a wealth of information. If you are a movie buff and love the Monterey Peninsula, this tour is a "must do". You won't be disappointed!

It's fun to go on a tour when you can tell the guide loves what they are doing!! Very informative!! The 3 hours flew by.

Doug has put together a tour that shows the most beautiful coast line in the world and you get to see how Hollywood has used it. Most of the movies claim it's some exotic far away place but it's really right here in Northern California. Our friends from Texas enjoyed the feeling of having access to these "Secret" places. I highly recommend the tour especially if you get the picture perfect weather we were lucky to enjoy.

Our group all had a great time. The driver was lots of fun and so knowledgeable on all the movies. The weather was great so the bus ride and scenery were the best. I highly recommend the tour to everyone. Need to publicize it more as a lot of people have never heard of it. Great way to spend an afternoon.

On my second time on the tour with my sister and friends we were again shown an enertaining time and our friends too were pleased.
