Our motorcycle group looked forward to trying something different.
Wow, Doug's Movie tour was the answer. All of us kicked back and
enjoyed an excellent tour and saw sights we could not see on our motorbikes(17-mile drive). We all said we would repeat this tour without a doubt in the future.
Thank you Doug for making your bus tour the highlight of our trip to Monterey.

I love movies, so the tour was a very special treat for me. The tour stopped at the locations where movie scenes were filmed. We were at the exact same spot where the movie stars were...Marilyn Monroe, Tom Hanks, Bruce Willis, etc.!
Doug is a terrific tour guide! I would recommend this tour to everyone!!

We have never done a movie tour before. If this particular one is anything to go by we will be doing many more in the future. We saw many movie clips overhead on TV monitors, whilst we listened on headsets. The volume was adjustable which was nice. We watched the movies as we were moving from one location to another, and when we were parked, so we could really compare the clip to its actual spot. Intersparced were stories about the stars and personal experiences told from the driver, who happened to be the owner. He couldn't have been more entertaining or professional.
As a recommendation for the future it would be nice to see more up to date movies especially for the younger passengers. And provide water. It did say in your website refreshments were available.
Thanks for the potty spots, and the chance to finally look around Pebble Beach golf course. Well worth every penny. We plan on seeing every movie which was filmed in the Monterary area now. |

This was my second time on the tour. The first was with a group and I had to do a repeat with my wife. Owner/driver/narrator is oustanding. A beautiful day, marvelous scenery, informative and entertaining. |

The tour guide, bus driver, owner (all-in-one) Doug Lumsden does a very good job.
My wife and I greatly enjoyed the Movie Tour. |

This was second tour for this older couple - undertaken to entertain a visitor from Ohio. The second time was just as entertaining and fun as the first, and the Ohio visitor was enormously impressed. I rate this tour as five stars for anyone who has interest in either the wonderful scenery in the vicinity, or/and in old movies. Great tour, great "docent". |

As I took your tour I was very happy with the knowledge and info provided as we proceeded along the route .BUT!! To be told to turn off my video camera and that NO continuous filming is allowed due to copy write laws and infringement was not only a load it was also embarassing!!! No where in any info that was provided to me before I took this tour was there any disclaimer stating that continuous filming was not allowed ..If you do not want this to take place on your tours then it should be stated in the info provided before the tour is taken.Not everyone in this world is out to infringe on someone elses rights!!!! I simply was having a great time and was totally in the zone.Well until that happened and of course spoiled the rest of the tour!!!!!! I will never take this tour again simply because of this embarassing and stupid assumption. Regards Mr. L. Mills |
