| The length of the tour, 3 hrs, was just right.
We had a small group and I think this added to the detail in the commentary we got from the host
Relied heavily on one movie, would like to have seen a greater variety
My expectations for entertainment were exceeded. My wife and I highly recommend this method of viewing an unfamiliar city.
Certainly allowed us to decide, in 3 hrs, where we wanted to come back and spend time
The host was very clear in what were facts about the locations and quickly let us know if our questions involved unsubstantiated material; really appreciated this |

| This is a great tour whether you know the area well or not. In addition to the movie locations you get a conducted tour of the Monterey/Carmel/17-Mile-Drive area. The bus is comfortable, the owner, Doug, is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The idea of showing movie sequences on the video screens just as the bus arrives at the location is brilliant. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone with even a passing interest in the movie locations.
A really fun afternoon and good value for money. |

| The tour was a good break in our day and got us to see places and get info we probably wouldn't have gotten otherwise (E.g., Pebble Beach Lodge).
We appreciated the fact that the tour ran with only 3 ticket-holders. We'd have definitely expected to have it canceled for lack of participation, so this made it more enjoyable. Felt we got very personalized treatment as a result.
Probably could have done with less discussion of "A Summer Place," and maybe a tad less Clint Eastwood namedropping (since we weren't going to actually meet him), but all-in-all, fairly interesting reviews.
Thanks for having us along. |

| The tour was great! The driver was knowledgeable and interesting. Got to see lots of places we would have missed otherwise. We recommended this tour to a Monterey businessman. |

| My wife and I had a blast on tour. Due to a cancelation there were only 4 of us on the tour. The guide, who actually was the owner, treated us like he had a 100 people on the tour. He shared all kinds of interesting facts about Monterey, Pebble Beach, Carmel and the movies that were filmed in these locations. It was a lot of fun! |

| I've been living in the Bay Area all my life and have grown "weary" of going to the Monterey Peninsula and doing the same thing with visitors from out of state. What a great surprise to find the Movie Tour online and try something different. What a great trip to see not only the local scenery but the movie locations as well. Our tour host was more then knowledgeable and providing lots of interesting facts. I've got plans to go back and I highly recommend this trip to anyone....who has "been there, done that" in Monterey. You won't be disappointed. |

| This obviously is a tour for fans of movies and movie history. At the same time it is a great scenic tour of the Monterey area including the 17 mile drive. The tour is very well organized and presented in a humorous and entertaining way. |

| During the tour, there were a couple of technical glitches after a brief intro which caused us to not witness the video transition. Other than the glitches, the tour was very informative and quite enjoyable. |

| My family and I usually like to hop onto the city tourist buses when we arrive in a new town - that way you get to see all of the best spots and you can make a note to go back to the ones that look most interesting. The Scenic Movie Tour Bus does all that and a lot lot more - movie fans will love being reminded of the great scenes that were shot literally yards from where they are sitting - Doug the guide / narrator describes each scene as if he was there - he clearly loves the movies. For non movie fans the bus takes you around the magical coastline of Pacific Grove and past the beautiful homes of the mega rich in the Pebble Beach estate as well as the famous Cannery Row and the picture postcard town of Carmel
The tour lasts about 3 hours and is good value for money |

| The driver/owner may have done this a thousand times, but he made this presentation seem fresh and vital. He sounded excited about what he was doing and he was proud of his area. We learned much more than about movies made in the Monterey area. We also learned so many insights that I never knew about the land, the places, and the people. I have been down to Monterey many times. This tour made my visit (and future visits) all the more enjoyable. Go! A great value. |
