| Our guide, Doug, gave my son and myself the VIP treatment. His enthusiasm, experience, and insider information really added to the subject matter and beauty of the surroundings. Whether you only have a short time or have a more leisurely trip to the Monterey penninsula planned, I highly recommend this informative and fun trip. After looking at the movie scenes and the actual scenery during the tour, I will be adding to my DVD collection! Be sure to add this tour to your itineary!!!! |

| The tour was interesting, but certainly not worth $49 + your fee of $2! The restroom break along the beach was a good idea, but 40 whole minutes at the Lodge was completely unnecessary. True, the view was spectacular, but 20 minutes would have been more than adequate. I would have rather seen more footage and more movie scenes. Essentially, it boils down to two hours at $51.
Of the 200 movies made on the Peninsula, we saw less than 15. Very disappointing. Had the brochure been more specific, I would never have wasted my time nor my money nor that of my friends.

| We had the pleasure of having Doug (the owner of Movie Tours of Monterey) as our driver and narrator of this fascinating tour. Doug knows his stuff! We enjoyed listening to his stories about Clint Eastwood and seeing all of the interesting sites used for filming in the Monterey Bay area. Doug has a great speaking voice and a good sense of humor. He even volunteered to take a picture of my husband and I at beautiful Cypress Point. I would definitely go on this tour again and highly recommend it to everyone whether you are a movie buff or not. The scenery will take your breath away. Good job Movies Tours of Monterey!
Sincerely,

| This is a wonderful tour of the Monterey Peninsula in addition to the movie history. It was a three hour tour but the time went so fast because it was so enjoyable. The tour guide was terrific with an excellent sense of humor and a lot of knowledge about the Monterey area. I'm not sure how much people under the age of 40 would enjoy the movie history but they will surely enjoy the beauty of the area. |

| My husband and I booked the tour mainly because we enjoy the movies (actually going to the movie theater) but after seeing the clips and sites of many of the older movies such as "A Summer Place" - "From Here To Eternity" etc. we have decided to rent the DVD's and enjoy them again with our new knowledge of the history of the films.
The entire three hours was filled with film clips, a wonderful narration by our tour guide, Doug, and stops at some of the most scenic and beautiful places on the Peninsula.
We would highly recommend the tour to anyone wishing a more intimate knowledge of the films, sites and magnificent landscape. Doug made the scenes come alive for us with the personal stories of his experiences and relationships.

| Organization was important to me and the tour was well described in brochures and on the Internet. I bought two tickets through ZERVE, on the Internet. I was inspired by an article I read on the site which was written by a freelance writer who had been on the Movie Tour. The article was printed in the Travel Section, San Francisco Chronicle, February 29, 2004. I found it with GOOGLE, "Monterey Movie Tours."
1. Parking in a covered garage, close to the tour departure. CHEAP! $5 for all day.
2.15 minute orientation from owner/driver Doug provided an overview of the history of the Monterey Movie Tours by bus. Established his credentials as a native of the area and his contacts with notable movie greats who reside in the area.
3.Timing of the tour and the three stops off the bus.
4. Knowledge of the history of the Peninsula in addition to the movie sites filmed in
the area. A great variety in the sites. Nothing was duplicated.
5.The small friendly group of eight people was a bonus for the ease for quick exiting for each stop. Reboarding seemed to provide more time and certainly easier to have the best view for photography.
6. Among the group were visitors from Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Colorado. One was from Korea and two from the bay area and local.
7. A great stop at Pebble Beach Lodge overlooking the Golf Course and the Bay. Five of the group spent the time on the deck, shared a table, and ordered a cold beverage.
All the elements of a good tour was enjoyed with the balmy weather, sunshine, and incredible scenery. I would recommend the tour to anyone who plans a visit to the Monterey Peninsula. Mary Mueller, San Jose, CA

| The ladies who rode on this tour, very much enjoyed it. They were from South Africa, Greece and Australia. They mentioned that they found the movie clips helpful in seeing the location where it was filmed.
They would recommend this to others. |

| It was enjoyable to see and hear much of the Monterey Peninsula history from someone who seemed to know it well. The Movie Tour portion was fine, with my only complaint being that it should include more movies and not rely so much on "A Summer Place" and on Clint Eastwood. It sometimes seemed as if Eastwood was a sponsor, inasmuch as he got so much promotion. Also, I was under the impression there had been at least 200 movies shot around the Peninsula but we heard about and saw only a few. Less of sites from "A Summer Place" and more varied movies would have added substantially to the tour. |
