| This is a must-see when you visit the Monterey Peninsula. Not only do you view some breathtaking scenery, but you learn a lot about the area that you would never find out on your own. Doug Lumsden, owner and operator, provides a wealth of information in his usual friendly, disarming way. Highlight: enjoy the view from the 18th green at Pebble Beach, up close and personal. Later, when you watch Tiger Woods walk the green on TV, you can say you were there.
Doug, keep doing what you're doing. By the way, do you need any relief tour drivers? |

| Pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed the tour. Neither of us are rabid fans of modern movies (sex is not a spectator sport) but the clips of flicks from an earlier era brought back happy memories. |

| I have been to the Monterey Peninsula many times,as I live nearby. This was a different and great way to show friends who come to visit., especially if you are limited on time and want them to experience this beautifu area! This tour was fantastic; enjoying the scenery as I didn't have to drive. Doug, the tour guide had stories that added local color. I am a movie buff, having owned a video store for ten years. It was great to see clips from old movies, filmed here. Doug, the tour director was great, very informative, and really knew the history of the area! |

| The tour was great! The driver was knowledgeable and interesting. Got to see lots of places we would have missed otherwise. We recommended this tour to a Monterey businessman. |

| It was enjoyable to see and hear much of the Monterey Peninsula history from someone who seemed to know it well. The Movie Tour portion was fine, with my only complaint being that it should include more movies and not rely so much on "A Summer Place" and on Clint Eastwood. It sometimes seemed as if Eastwood was a sponsor, inasmuch as he got so much promotion. Also, I was under the impression there had been at least 200 movies shot around the Peninsula but we heard about and saw only a few. Less of sites from "A Summer Place" and more varied movies would have added substantially to the tour. |

| We have never done a movie tour before. If this particular one is anything to go by we will be doing many more in the future. We saw many movie clips overhead on TV monitors, whilst we listened on headsets. The volume was adjustable which was nice. We watched the movies as we were moving from one location to another, and when we were parked, so we could really compare the clip to its actual spot. Intersparced were stories about the stars and personal experiences told from the driver, who happened to be the owner. He couldn't have been more entertaining or professional.
As a recommendation for the future it would be nice to see more up to date movies especially for the younger passengers. And provide water. It did say in your website refreshments were available.
Thanks for the potty spots, and the chance to finally look around Pebble Beach golf course. Well worth every penny. We plan on seeing every movie which was filmed in the Monterary area now. |

| Doug, the owner, was the operator for our tour. He brought additional insight into each of the scenes with personal touches as well. It was interesting to view the scenes on the screen as we drove by the same areas which was where they were filmed. He even timed our arrival to coincide with the action in the scene.
Along with seeing movies from the past, it brough nostalgia to the forefront since I had seen most of the same pictures in the theatre. Needless to say, the 3 hours went fast and looking forward to my next trip to Monterey to see what movies have been added to the repertoire. |

| I initially heard about this tour on the internet and didn't know much about it. I booked it on a whim being a big movie fan and wanting to see the sights of Monterey on my first ever trip there.
This was well organized and enthusiastically presented by the owner of the tour. The real highlight was being able to see clips of the movies as we were at various locations and while driving around the area. Besides the excitement of seeing the clips while you're at the actual sight, these older movies helped capture what the area looked like long ago and provided a special historical outlook on the area which has changed so much over the years.
It was great to able to stop at a couple of place and stretch our legs. Pebble Beach was a definite highlight as I would have never seen the Lodge or the 18th hole if not for the tour.
Also, since I took the tour on my first day in Monterey, it helped give me a geographical idea of the area and learn my way around while introducing me to some areas I would want to spend more time in.
I recommend this to anyone visiting Monterey, whether movie buff or someone in town for their first visit. It was a great experience and really made my trip to Monterey special. |
