| We were unable to do the tour last year as you were fully booked. This year we did, and loved it. It was the day beffore the tropical storm, so the ocean looked very scary and it was so windy but this added to the tour and the amazing views.
The juxtaposition of the film clips to the ride was so well planned and so many of the films were known to us. Doug took the tour and how fortunate we were we to have him!
Such a fascinatng and interesting afternoon and well worth the effort of driving to Monterey for the tour |

| This is a great tour whether you know the area well or not. In addition to the movie locations you get a conducted tour of the Monterey/Carmel/17-Mile-Drive area. The bus is comfortable, the owner, Doug, is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The idea of showing movie sequences on the video screens just as the bus arrives at the location is brilliant. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone with even a passing interest in the movie locations.
A really fun afternoon and good value for money. |

| My family and I usually like to hop onto the city tourist buses when we arrive in a new town - that way you get to see all of the best spots and you can make a note to go back to the ones that look most interesting. The Scenic Movie Tour Bus does all that and a lot lot more - movie fans will love being reminded of the great scenes that were shot literally yards from where they are sitting - Doug the guide / narrator describes each scene as if he was there - he clearly loves the movies. For non movie fans the bus takes you around the magical coastline of Pacific Grove and past the beautiful homes of the mega rich in the Pebble Beach estate as well as the famous Cannery Row and the picture postcard town of Carmel
The tour lasts about 3 hours and is good value for money |

| Doug knows his product and is very genuine and has an obvious love of the movie industry.Hand feeding the squirrels give the trip a nice surprise.Be sure to take a little bribery of food,as they are not interrested in small talk. The Lodge at Pebble Beach is a real treat.Overall a very nice experience I would recommend. |

| As I took your tour I was very happy with the knowledge and info provided as we proceeded along the route .BUT!! To be told to turn off my video camera and that NO continuous filming is allowed due to copy write laws and infringement was not only a load it was also embarassing!!! No where in any info that was provided to me before I took this tour was there any disclaimer stating that continuous filming was not allowed ..If you do not want this to take place on your tours then it should be stated in the info provided before the tour is taken. Not everyone in this world is out to infringe on someone elses rights!!!! I simply was having a great time and was totally in the zone.Well until that happened and of course spoiled the rest of the tour!!!!!! I will never take this tour again simply because of this embarassing and stupid assumption. Regards Mr. L. Mills |

| I'm from Dublin, Ireland. My friends here in Marina toured me around the Monterey Peninsula quite a bit, but this tour was a wonderfully unique way to see the Peninsula. Brilliant!! (P.S. Don't forget that the MGM Grand lion was born in the Dublin Zoo.) |

| The ladies who rode on this tour, very much enjoyed it. They were from South Africa, Greece and Australia. They mentioned that they found the movie clips helpful in seeing the location where it was filmed.
They would recommend this to others. |

| Doug, the owner, was the operator for our tour. He brought additional insight into each of the scenes with personal touches as well. It was interesting to view the scenes on the screen as we drove by the same areas which was where they were filmed. He even timed our arrival to coincide with the action in the scene.
Along with seeing movies from the past, it brough nostalgia to the forefront since I had seen most of the same pictures in the theatre. Needless to say, the 3 hours went fast and looking forward to my next trip to Monterey to see what movies have been added to the repertoire. |
