My husband and I went to California for our 30th wedding anniversary. We decided to book this tour via the web after reviewing it, and we were not disappointed! The tour guide was well informed and gave us a tremendous amount of information. It was so much fun watching the film clips and then seeing the place they were filmed. Talk about going back in time! It also provided a great tour of the Monterey/Carmel area. I certainly recommend this if you have any interest in the area and the movies. What a great combination! Have fun and enjoy!

It was a great way to travel the 17 mile drive and Pebble Beach. Doug is very knowledgeable and we enjoyed his stories and extensive knowledge of each film's history and the movie stars who live in the area. A very pleasant and relaxing afternoon trip.

We could not make our trip but we were called last Tuesday morning asking if we were going to show. I explained that we could not because of a family illness. I was told that we could just let them know when we could make it to Carmel within a year and go on our tour, already paid. That was very nice to hear.

Knew several movies had been made here. Very surprised about others. Very happy with trip.

My brothers and I lived on the Monterey Peninsula many years ago. Since we all reside in Sacramento, it's so close for trips to Monterey. We do come quite often, at least twice a year. This time we thought why not take the Movie Tour. So glad we did. It was well worth the three hours and filled with so much wonderful information,tidbits and humor from Doug. This tour is one we would recommend to anyone going to the Peninsula. GREAT JOB!!!

We spent an afternoon of fun aboard the Scenic Movie Tour on our recent honeymoon to Monterey. As movie lovers, we thought the tour sounded like a lot of fun....and we were right. Doug is very knowledgable about the area and about movies. We enjoyed the scenic drive through Monterey, Pacific Grove and Carmel as we saw clips from a variety of movies filmed there. We would definitely recommend this tour to movie lovers visiting the Monterey area.

Doug, the owner, was our tour director for the afternoon. He was so knowledgable about the area and the movie filming history of the area. He made the trip so interesting and the afternoon flew by. All the information was not just about old movies. He gave us history of various buildings and houses without divulging names of famous owners. I appreciated that because I am a believer in letting famous people have a private life. I could tell that he enjoyed telling visitors about the area in which he grew up. I never felt he was "BS'ing" us like a tour I took in Los Angeles. I would recommend this tour to mostly adults with a love of older movies and movie stars. Teenagers might not appreciate much of what we learned.

My husband and I had never been to Monterey and love movies. This worked out great. We saw a lot of Monterey, Carmel, and Pacific Grove, heard some fun facts about movies and stars, and enjoyed our knowledgeable, entertaining guide. It's best to take it early on your trip because there are places you'll see that you'll want to come back to later and spend more time.

My husband and I absolutely loved the movie tour! We even had time for a glass of wine at the Pebble Beach Clubhouse. It was fascinating seeing movie clips of exact locations we were passing in the van. Movie buffs and just those wanting something new and different would thoroughly enjoy this tour.

We had a great time. Got to see some beautiful scenery and movie clips. We learned some interesting information about where various scenes from movies were shot. Our driver, the owner, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made the trip very enjoyable.

It was very imformative. Some of the scenery was beautiful. The movie clips were a nice touch. We enjoyed the stops and hd plenty of time at Pebble Beach to shop or have a cup of coffee or soft drink. The guide was very knowledgable about the area and the movies.

We learned so much about the movies filmed in Monterey and enjoyed the film clips. The time on the tour went too fast. We were impressed with the Lodge at Pebble Beach Golf Course and even had time to sit and have a drink before getting back on thebus. The owner was our tour guide and he was awesome.
