| This is a great tour whether you know the area well or not. In addition to the movie locations you get a conducted tour of the Monterey/Carmel/17-Mile-Drive area. The bus is comfortable, the owner, Doug, is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The idea of showing movie sequences on the video screens just as the bus arrives at the location is brilliant. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone with even a passing interest in the movie locations. A really fun afternoon and good value for money. | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Monterey Peninsula; the small coach was very comfortable and the tour guide was well-spoken and provided many interesting facts. We loved the fact that we were able to spend quite of bit of time at the Pebble Beach Lodge and time was included for photos of the Lone Cypress Tree and the beach. | ||||||

| The tour was interesting, but certainly not worth $49 + your fee of $2! The restroom break along the beach was a good idea, but 40 whole minutes at the Lodge was completely unnecessary. True, the view was spectacular, but 20 minutes would have been more than adequate. I would have rather seen more footage and more movie scenes. Essentially, it boils down to two hours at $51. Of the 200 movies made on the Peninsula, we saw less than 15. Very disappointing. Had the brochure been more specific, I would never have wasted my time nor my money nor that of my friends. | ||||||

| beautiful senerey. A little to much emphasis on the movie scenes. Got a little boring at parts. I guess you really have to be a movie fan to totally enjoy the tour. But I did enjoy it just was a little to long. | ||||||

| This was a very well thought out tour. The owner takes great pride in delighting his tourist with accurate information and operates rain or shine! Being a D.J. his voice is so soothing to listen to for 3 hours, the vidoe clips on the tv monitors are terrific and the timing of the drive,vidoes, and outside visuals very well timed. Impossible not to enjoy this tour! | ||||||

| I had taken this tour several years ago and thought it was great. Some of my family were here visiting last week. They aren't really movie buffs, but I thought they would enjoy the tour. They absolutely loved it! I loved it just as much the second time! Doug, the owner and tour guide, is great. We all agreed that it was the best thing we did the whole time they were here (and we did a lot!). I can't say enough good things about Monterey Movie Tours! It's a mini history of the area, a tour of our scenic wonders and a movie location tour all wrapped up in one tour. I'm a resident of Monterey and I was very pleased that I could give my family such a great experience. You have got to take this tour! | ||||||

| Good tour eventhough most of the movies were very old ones. There may not be any "more recent" ones available. The day was warm and the bus was too warm as it lacked air conditioning. | ||||||

| Director was knowledgeable and entertaining. Having been to this area many times, some areas were unnecessary. For first time visitors, this is almost a must. Bus seats were a bit too close = uncomfotable. Head sets seemed to break easily. | ||||||

| I've been living in the Bay Area all my life and have grown "weary" of going to the Monterey Peninsula and doing the same thing with visitors from out of state. What a great surprise to find the Movie Tour online and try something different. What a great trip to see not only the local scenery but the movie locations as well. Our tour host was more then knowledgeable and providing lots of interesting facts. I've got plans to go back and I highly recommend this trip to anyone....who has "been there, done that" in Monterey. You won't be disappointed. | ||||||

| Most references were for rather old movies so I don't know if many people under 30 or 40 will have ever seen the movies they spotlight. I'm older and a real movie fan so it was a terrific experience in one of the most beautiful places in the world. | ||||||
